Am I doing this right in order to get that Skarmory?

I recently got my friend into competitive playing. I’m teaching him the basics, and in exchange, he promised he would lend me his Pokemon Diamond copy.This is amazing for me, because I only need 1 member, and 1 only to complete my competitive team. And this member is the second MVP, after Mega-Pinsir.I need aSkarmorybut not any Skarmory. My BW2 copies have been restarted and I’m just too lazy to beat them back. Thereby, I’ve looked for an opportunity to get the Skarmory I want to.

Yes Kijani, this is the set you gave me. In order to get this Skarmory, I’ll proceed as such:

All I need to do is transferring to Black, then from Black to X, then from X to Alpha (hopefully) and go nuts.

Am I doing the whole thing correctly? Am I missing something?Thanks in advance ;)

…But there isn’t a Brave Bird TM. Here’s how it’s still right though; When you breed that Staravia with Skarmory, it will inheritbothmoves i.e Whirwind and Brave Bird. After this all you need to do is throw in Stealth Rock and Roost, and then “go bananas”.

A small mention as to having the breeding Skarmory hold an Everstone, to get the nifty 50% chance of Impish on the offspring as well.
