Are there other ways to trade from HeartGold to SoulSilver?

I just finished Black, and got to a point on SoulSilver where I’d like to trade a powerful Pokemon to my HeartGold game. I have two DS consoles, and I know how to use the Union Room in the Pokemon Center. I was wondering whether there’s a different way (without WiFi, obviously) to trade? Black has the C-Gear, for example. Also, while trading in the Union Room, is it possible to trade Pokemon that are in PC boxes, and not in your party?

The Union Room is now the only way to trade with HGSS, since the Wifi was shut down. In the Union Room, it’s impossible to trade directly from PCs.sourceThere are no (legitimate) third party tools that can trade with HGSS, as My Pokemon Ranch is compatible only with DPPt.source

since nintendo WFC was shutdown you can go upstairs in any Pokemon center and talk to the girl on the middle and confirm that you want to go to the union room if you have two Pokemon ds cartridges and 2 DS/3DSes insert your other cartridge on another console, start the game and do the same thing above and a NPC will appear in other console just talk to him/her and select trade, select a Pokemon that you want to trade on your first console and select a Pokemon on your another console and confirm the trade
