Chimecho or Kadabra in Platinum?

I need a psychic type in platinum and I have both chimecho and kadabra. Which is more powerful. Please include movesets for them.

As for Kadabra

Now it depends what you want to do, if you want a lot of power but being vulnerable at the same time you should choose Kadabra but if you are gonna evolve Kadabra into Alakazam, go with Alakazam.

If you want a balanced set of stats and a not bad movepool go with Chimecho.

As for movesets, I’m not too good at that but I will give it a try.

Now as I said those movepools aren’t that good, those are just some of the best moves they can learn but you can choose what you want, there are many variations.

Well Kadabra can evolve to Alakazam which has 490 Base Stats and Chimecho only got 425.Alakazam is The Fastest Psychic type Except Deoxys-Speed. He got a Huge SAtk base stat and who cares about Kadabras Atk stat no one has Pshysical moves on him.

So I would go with this Alakazam____

I Would go with Kadabra and trade it with a friend and Evolve it to A ALAKAZAM!

Also, I’m assuming this in in-game, so I take it that abilities and EV’s/IV’s and natures wont matter?

MOVES:-Shadow ball-Psychic-Energy Ball/Calm Mind-Signal Beam/Recover

How to get these moves:

-Shadow Ball can be found at route 210 after obtaining rock smash.-Psychic can be found at route 211 after getting rock climb, or can be learnt at level 40.-Energy Ball can be found at route 226/ Calm Mind can be bought at Battle Tower.-Signal Beam can be learnt by the Move Tutor/ Recover is learnt via level 30.

If you are near the beginning of the game, and just need a Psychic type.

Well, he is pretty much a mini-dabra to compensate.
