Ditto and Vespiquen breeding problem.

In soul Silver I’m trying to breed a vespiquen whit a Ditto but the old man says that the two don’t seem to like each other much. Am I missing somthing, Is this a relationship that is going to improve? PS this is the first time im breeding in the newer games.
