Eviolite Machoke or Machamp?

1 minute read

I was thinking to have a non-mega Pokemon to have No Guard. Machamp came to mind but then I wondered: Would it be better to have an Eviolite Machoke or a Machamp? These are the moves:

Machoke@EvioliteAbility: No guardEVs: 252 speed, 126 defense, 126 special defenseMoveset:Dynamic PunchFocus BlastLight ScreenKnock Off/Bullet Punch/Poison Jab

Machamp@Life Orb/Quick ClawAbility: No GuardEVs: 252 speed, 126 defense, 126 special defenseMoveset:Dynamic PunchFocus BlastLight AcreenKnock Off/Bullet Punch/Poison Jab

Definitly Machamp. Here’s why:

Machamp @ Chesto BerryAbility: No GuardEVs: 252 HP/252 SpD/4 DefCareful Nature- Dynamic Punch- Bulk Up- Rest- Knock Off

Keep in mind this set still sucks, but it’s better than the Machoke one. And if you really want to use the Machoke set, here’s a better Machoke Eviolite set

Machoke @ EvioliteAbility: No GuardEVs: 252 HP/212 SpD/44 SpeCareful Nature- Dynamic Punch- Knock Off- Sleep Talk- Rest

Again, don’t forget Machamp can do this better as he can hold a Chesto Berry, Leftovers, or even an Assault Vest.

Conclusion - Machamp is in every way far superior to Machoke.
