Garbodor or Weezing for a Gen V NU physical wall / fighting counter?

I can answer these questions, but I can’t make the decision meh self…embarrassing..

Anyhoo, I came to ask out of Garbodor and Weezing, who is the better physical wall? Or if you have any other options you think I could use? NU obviously.

Garbodoris one of the best Pokemon in Gen V NU, residing in S tier compared to Weezing’s B tier. This is due to a few reasons:

Weezing, has higher Defense and an easier time against Fighting types due to its bulk and Will-O-Wisp, but it struggles to match Garbodor’s overall utility in the tier. If you’re only looking for an answer to Fighting types, Weezing is superior, but Garbodor is otherwise the preferred choice.

Weezing offers you the ability levitate, meaning it is immune to ground. He also has 120 base defense versus Garb’s 82 defense. He also can learn Will-O-Wisp to further sponge physical shots.

Garb has higher HP (base 80 over 65) and has access to Toxic spikes, which can have a higher payoff for you in the long run. Garb can also pick up spikes, and is used more for setting hazards as a lead or mid-game support.

For physical walling, I suggest going with Weezing for the job.

Weezing keeps Physical attackers away from it. Will-o-wisp and 120 Defense. Also Weezing Clear Smogs away sweepers. Weezing can take advantage of its high Defense, typing, access to coverage options such as Flamethrower and Thunderbolt. With levitate Weezing is only weak to Psychic. In my opinion use Weezing.
