Getting Deoxys Forms?

On the dex page for Deoxys, it states that Deoxys can be obtained in only Emerald, on Birth Island. Then, when you look at the spites, Only speed form appears in Emerald. FireRed has it as Attack form, LeafGreen has Defense form, and Ruby / Sapphire has Normal. Is there a mistake? Can you change it’s forms with only Emerald, or do you need the other games?

When you trade Deoxys from game to game, its stats and appearence change to the Stats and Appearence of that game. However Attacks, IV’s and Effort Points stay the same. Say you put 129 EP’s on Special Attack…trade over and even if the stat changes, the Effort Points stay the same as do the IV’s which help determine the stats. So If you trade Attack Deoxys to Colosseum…it’ll be Normal Form, to Emerald…it’ll be Speed Forme

So, each game has a different forme for Deoxys. All the forms you stated are correct for each game. For moves only one forme could learn, you had to trade, learn them on that game, then trade back.

Normal Forme is the default in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

You would be correct, you can only get Speed Forme in Emerald.
