How big is the chance of catching Pokemon on the trees slathered with honey in Pokemon platinum?

i want to catch a heracross to add it on my Pokemon team.

There are 4 trees in the Sinnoh region, determined randomly, that contain Munchlax. In these trees, Heracross has a 3.5% chance of appearing. The other trees have a 1% chance of yielding a Heracross.

If you mean the catch rate of the Pokemon, exactly the same as if you had met it anywhere else - so in this case Heracross’s catch rate is 45.There is a 3.5% encounter rate of a Heracross on a Munchlax tree, and 1% on a non-Munchlax tree.

Well, it’s one of the rarest Pokemon that can be found on the Honey Trees. Just before Aipom and Munchlax. So it’s kind of rare (I’m not sure if this helps in anyway, but I always found Heracross in the Honey Tree in the Floarama Meadow. I’m not sure if that’s an individual thing, but check there I guess. xD)

Otherwise, it’s quite rare.
