How good is Uxie in Gen 8 Battle Stadium Singles?
Uxie is quite bulky and has entry hazard potential. His shiny is amazing and it is also pretty cool. I made this set and I wanted to see peoples thoughts on Uxie.
Physically defensive entry hazard:
Uxie @ Colbur BerryAbility: LevitateEVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpDBold Nature- Foul Play- Stealth Rock- Yawn / U-turn- Knock Off / Toxic
Stealth Rock as an entry hazard. Yawn to force a switch or put something to sleep. Bold Nature to make it more physically defensive and also not harm Foul Play. Knock Off for utility and Toxic to stall against physical attackers. U-turn to pivot with its natural good speed.

You didn’t ask on Smogon, so I asked for you.
Uxie has worse stats than Cresselia, but gets Yawn, SR, and Memento. I’m not 100% sure why it’s used little, but there are lots of notable SE attacks on it like Wicked Blow and, not in Series 7 but now, Astral Barrage. It’s pretty predictable but then again so is Hippo/Swampert Yawn/Rocks so idk what’s so bad about Uxie. Low attacking stats, unlike those other 2.
Uxie is used as a niche SR lead that has all of the following- Rocks- Good Bulk- Yawn- Decent speedgenerally Uxie is outclassed by Hippowdon or Swampert as a bulky rocks setter thanks to their greater longevity, and Swampert having access to a pivoting move. And if you’re looking for a faster, more offensive setter, Garchomp and Landorus generally get the job done better. Uxie is a sort of middle ground between the two extremes that these mons represent. It’s a very specific niche but can genuinely be quite valuable for certain teams, hence the sparse usage.

As a defensive Pokemon, Uxie shoud be a set-up Pokemon. With its amazing bulk, it will without a doubt survive atleast 3 hits or more. The light clay should be useful when setting up reflect and light screen, but it is recommended that you use stealth rock first, because then you use reflect and light screen for more time thanks to the light clay. Then you make Uxie die from memento and make the Pokemon deal much less damage, then bring out a Pokemon to start setting up swords dances or dragon dances or nasty plots.
