Here’s a few ways to hit a Ghost Type with a Normal Type move:

Use a Pokémon with Scrappy.

Give your Pokémon the Ring Target and use Trick/Switcheroo/Bestow on the Ghost. Since you catch it, you get your item back.

Use Foresight or Odor Sleuth.

Use Soak. Then it won’t even be a Ghost Type anymore.

If you use a Pokémon whose Ability changes its moves Types, like Mega Pinsir (Thank KRLW890) or Mega Altaria, then you can use False Swipe.

May this quench your curiosity.

The other answers are pretty good, but neither of them mention Mega Pinsir, so I’m just going to add that here. Because of Aerilate, Mega Pinsir gets access to a flying-type False Swipe.

If you have a Pokémon with the ability Scrappy, it will be able to hit ghost types with False Swipe. The only Pokémon that have Scrappy and can learn False Swipe are Pancham and Pangoro. Scrappy is their hidden ability though, so this method would be inconvenient.

The moves Odor Sleuth or Foresight will also let all normal type moves hit ghost types. Most route 1 animal-based Pokémon learn Odor Sleuth, and there are a decent amount of Pokémon that can learn Foresight, so it shouldn’t be that hard to get either. Once you use Odor Sleuth or Foresight, switch out to a Pokémon that knows false swipe. The effects of odor sleuth will stay when you switch out.

You can use trick and give the ghost type the ring target item, but I don’t know if this will actually work.
