If I encounter Shiny Tornadus before Regular Tornadus, will the Pokédex Page register it as Shiny (Read Description)?

I’m playing my Oshawott run and accidentally triggered the roamed cutscene. I saved right before exiting the house, and I know once I exit, a minute long cutscene will play and then suddenly Tornadus would be added to my Pokédex. To save time, I want to know, would the shiny sprite show on the Pokédex page instead of the normal, or do I still have to press “forms” to see if it were a shiny or not?

Please don’t answer if you don’t particularly know this shiny hunt since it’s a bit unique in terms of “encountering” and the last thing I want is to hear someone telling me how a cutscene == Pokédex or that I have to battle him or something

It should register as shiny, if you haven’t encountered the original form of a Pokemon but you have encountered the shiny it should only show it’s shiny.commented 11 hours ago by GmaxWaluigi

I think it’s clear that it will appear shiny in your Pokedex. I know this happens with every single other Pokemon encounter in the video game series, so I don’t really see why it would change for this encounter anyway. I know that this encounter is different, but for example if you encountered a Cresselia or Mesprit in DP for the first time, it would either appear shiny in your Pokedex or not.

Edit: After watching your video, I can say that yes it will appear shiny before you hit the “forms” button because you aren’t encountering two different Tornadus.
