Go show it Lyra/Ethan and she/he will challange you to collect 5 of them on one Pokémon. When you do, you’ll be awarded by a star for your trainer card. But, you may find only one per Pokémon on a Route and it’s also determined by nature:

Its rare, really rare but prcticly worthless. It takes 6 of them on one pokemon to do the one thing they are good for, and thats only getting a star on your trainer card.

Yes it is good, for the reason swampert said, but I think getting all the stars on a trainer card is something to be proud about. How many people do you know who did that(without cheats).
