Is Contrary Serperior Worth It?

I mean, Serperior has great boosting moves, but Contrary makes them useless. Even though Leaf Storm is a great move with Contrary, that’s about the only move that it benefits from. So, what I’m asking is, is it better to stick with Overgrow and a boosting move, or Contrary and Leaf Storm?

Movesets are appreciated, but I don’t care that much.

Definitely. Serperior doesn’t have good offensive stats to boot, and getting a boost and doing damage at the same time is incredibly useful, and after a single boost, with base 113 speed, you’ll be sweeping whole teams (or at least be breaking them down :P)

Contrary serperior is better than overgrow serperior. Overgrow serperior is fine if you can’t get a contrary snivy, but contrary is just better. Dealing lots of damage with a STAB leaf storm and getting your sp.attack raised by 2 stages is just incredible. Sadly, his special move pool isn’t that good. You have dragon pulse and hidden power and that’s about it. It can learn leech seed, glare, and mirror coat which can also be helpful.Contrary serperior IS worth it
