Is it worth risking the defences lower from Shell smash on my Cloyster without a white herb?

If you’re about to start a sweep with a Shell Smasher, do the Defences really matter at that point? It is worth it, getting double the Attack and Speed for the lowering(by ONE Stage) of the Defence Stats. If you are still worried about the Defence drop, then run a White Herb to retain your Defences as well as get the boost.

Definitely worth risking it. If you put Shell Smash on a Cloyster it’s not meant to be a tank. It’s turned into a sweeper.
