Is Milotic worth it in Doubles? [Battle Spot Doubles (VGC15)]?

Milotic has always been a trusty Pokemon for me.I always used a Milotic in every Pokemon game I played, except in X&Y where there weren’t Feebas to catch.Andevery time I needed her help, Milotic always saved me. Her movepool, albeit shallow, was more than enough in-game.But in-game =/= competitive gameplay.

Milotic has always been a great Pokemon.Great stats,exceptionally bulky on the special sideandokay movepool to work with.But, in terms of a pure-Water-type Pokemon, she falls short to Suicune and its better stats and Vaporeon and its massive HP stat for massive Wishes.

I will not say otherwise, Astronautical made me want to start VGC, maybe unwillingly. I’m dying to use a Milotic competitively because as I knowMilotic is outclassed in its category in singles, shemightshine in doubles.I know very little about doubles but I’m sure Vaporeon is a big-no here, and I’ve never really had any experience with Suicune.

After some time of searching, I found out a moveset with which Milotic may not be overshadowed by any Pokemon since she sports stellar special bulk.

But, will this set work? As I’m a beginner at doubles, I want to know if Milotic is worth the pain it is to train in ORAS specifically. If it’s worth IV breeding a Feebas, maximize its beauty and undergoing some hassle to get this Milotic. I’m ready to do it because Milotic is certainly a Pokemon I love using anywhere.

Short answer:Yes

In a nutshell Milotics bulk and moveset will get you an easy win if you set it up right and play it tactically,Icy wind can be a killer, but dont get to addicted to using it.

Yes, Milotic is worth it against the right team, and with the right setup.
