Is Mudsdale good in any way?

I like the Mudsdale line a lot, I am playing Shield & Violet and can get a Mudbray in those games. I also play Showdown. Is Mudsdale a good choice for any of those games? If not, what are good choices?(Btw I have to replace my ninjask in shield and whiscash in scarlet, so I need an answer for both games. A competitive horse is an option)

For in-game use something like this:MudsdaleAbility: Stamina- Earthquake- Body Press- Iron Head- Body Slam ( S / V Tera Blast if you have unique tera)

Use the super effective move. Simple.

Competitively, here’s a Smogon set:

Mudsdale @ LeftoversAbility: StaminaEVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpDTera Type: Steel / Water / GhostImpish Nature- Stealth Rock- Earthquake- Body Press / Stone Edge.- Roar / Protect

Leftovers for recovery. Stealth Rock is a hazard. Earthquake is STAB. Body Press is to take advantage of Stamina, or Stone Edge to cover for flying types. Roar allows you to toss your opponents across the rocks. Protect is to scout and give more time for Leftover recovery. Tera’s are all defensive. Steel is a great defensive type. Water gives only two weaknesses, making it harder to break through Stamina. Ghost spin blocks. Use whichever one you need. Hope this helped!
