Is the Caitlin in the Battle Castle in the same as the E4 Caitlin?

In SoulSilver and HeartGold when you the Battle Frontier in the Johto, there are five builds. If you go to the Battle Castle, and challenge it there is a “princess” inside. Her name is Caitlin.If you get to the Pokémon League in Black/White 1 & 2, you can challenge a lady named Caitlin.A while ago, I thought they were the same person. Here’s why:

It is also mentioned that she is 16 in BW2, and 14 in all the other games she appears in, so she grew and presumably became a better battler in between games.

Yes she is the same Caitlin. Just that in Black 2 and White 2 she has grown to become a young adult.

The same caitlin but different age. The caitlin at the battle castle is learning to battle and such. As the years go by, she learns to battle. I don’t think she likes to take defeat thats why she did not battle in the battle castle. She got the experience to battle. Also, in the anime, Cynthia mentions that caitlin has grown up. That means caitlin and cynthia have met and battled before.
