Is this Aggron + Medicham strategy even remotely viable?

1 minute read

I came up with this combo while I was making a team in Showdown. The team members I had were:Aggron @ Choice BandAbility: Rock HeadEVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpDImpish Nature- Head Smash (Main Damage + Fighting Type Coverage)- Double-Edge (Alternate Damage)- Aqua Tail (Ground Type Coverage)- Any Other Move (Maybe HP Grass?)

Medicham @ Focus SashAbility: Pure PowerEVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpD / 252 SpeJolly Nature- Power Trick (Turn Aggron’s great defense into an offensive force)- Baton Pass (To pass Power Trick onto Aggron)- High Jump Kick (If Damaging Moves are needed)- Recover (So Medicham survives longer)

Also, I apologize if this is formatted incorrectly because this is my first post on here.

There’s no good reason to use 2 Pokemon and 2 status moves. With only 1 Pokemon and 1 status move, you can get a higher number in every stat. Specifically, its physical attack stat becomes 826 after one swords dance.

Necrozma-dusk-mane @ Solgalium ZEVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 SpeJolly nature- swords dance- sunsteel strike- photon geyser- earthquake
