Is this rental team still viable in ranked battles?

I was playing ranked battles in Sword a little less than a year ago, usingthis team. I had moderate success with it, but I’ve been out of the online Gen 8 competitive scene for a long time. I found it still saved in my rentals, so is it still viable? I’m not sure if anything has changed with ranked battles to make it less good, because as I said, I don’t really know what I’m doing in cartridge competitive.

This is battle single stadiums, I’m assuming. Unfortunately, with the DLC arriving, almost all of your pokyemans in this team have been yeeted to irrelevancy. Mimikyu is an amazing pick, there is no denying that. Tyranitar is quite solid, however, you MUST run a physical tyranitar as special tyranitar…kinda sucks. Unfortunately, the rest of your Pokemon….are not good anymore. First, Arcanine is outclassed by landorus therian, a superior user of intimidate. Therefore, you should always use landorus over arcanine. I’m assuming you want a defensive offensive hybrid like arcanine, or basically, a bulky attacker. Now, I’m going to use sitrus berry purely because of assault vest blocking ze rocks.

Pretty standard defensive Landorus Set. E quake is stab, rock tomb is coverage, u-turn is for momentum, and rocks are…rocks. 30 Spe IVs are for outslowing other landorus.

Next, rotom mow is outclassed as a special attacker by dragapult.

Dragapult is a kewl pokeymans. Draco meteor is powerful stab, shadow ball is also powerful stab, thunderbolt is coverage to dent water and flying types (other than lando lel) and fire blast is to nuke grass types like kartana and ferrothorn, although kartana will die to any special attack anyways lel

Hydreigon is another special attacker, however I think you need a physical attacker, so I’m going to suggest urshifu.

Urshifu @ Choice BandLevel: 50Ability: Unseen FistEVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 SpeJolly Nature- Wicked Blow- Close Combat- Sucker Punch- Thunder Punch

Banded Urshifu is pretty simple. Two stabs, sucker punch to revenge kill things, and thunder punch for water and flying types too.

Corviknight, surprisingly, isn’t that good. Toxapex is much better.

Mimikyu is insane in bss. Swords dance is good offensive pressure, play rough is stab, shadow sneak is for revenge killing and phantom force is good stab.
