Level for Clair battle in hg?

I am about to fight Clair but I don’t know what level my team should be.My team: quilava lvl. 34 pidgeotto lvl.33 graveler lvl. 33 machoke lvl. 33 alakazam lvl. 34 and gyrados lvl. 33. ( no my team doesn’t suck )

I Recommend being around level 42 when you fight her, Since her “ace” (Kindra) Is level 41.

Okay so the Pokemon that Clair utilises are:Level 38 Gyarados with Bite, Twister, Dragon Rage and Dragon PulseLevel 38 Dragonair with Thunder wave, Slam, Aqua Tail, Dragon PulseLevel 38 Dragonair (Yes oh god another one) with Thunder wave, Slam, Fireblast and Dragon PulseFinally a level 41 Kingdra with Smokescreen, HydroPump, Hyper Beam and Dragon Pulse

As you can see, your team is really under-levelled to be fighting against Clair. I remember I beat Clair with a level 43 Dragonair spamming Dragon Rush. XDSo what I would suggest is bring all your Pokemon to at least high 30s before facing her. Also your Gyarados should have just learned Ice Fance (level 32) so that’s your not-so-secret-weapon to beating her. ^_^

I beat her in my high 30s, or low 40s. To conserve the sweat for later, train them into theirmid 40sso then you can train (and beat) the League more easily.
