Multiple turn move versus Sturdy + Focus Band?

Well, I was pondering about how terrible the itemFocus Bandreally is. Which got me thinking about Sturdy. Then, it got me thinking about this…

Is it possible for Sturdy + Focus band to work when a multiple turn move is used on that Pokemon? If so, which would activate first, Sturdy or Focus Band?

There is a 10% chance that when the holder is hit by an attack that would otherwise cause fainting, it can survive with 1 HP. Can also protect againstmulti-strike moves, recoil damage, self-inflicted confusion damage, and damage from Future Sight or Doom Desire.

Even if it had Sturdy, it will still protect, no matter what.
