One of my Pikachu did not learn Thunderwave at Level 9. Has something gone wrong? (Blue)?

I was recently playing PokemonBlueon my Gameboy, and I decided I would like two Pikachus on my team (one I called Simon, the other Jane).Now when Simon reached Level 9 he learnedThuderwaveas he shouldBUTwhen Jane reached Level 9 she did not learnThunderwave.

Later I found a TM forThunderwavein my Items that I do not remember picking up.I caught both Pikachus within 5 mins of each other in Veridian Forest, I believe I caught Simon first.

I was wondering if I have caught a special Pikachu, or if my game has flawed?

Blue was one of the first Pokemon games, plus it has a whole lot of glitches, so Jane not learning thunder wave must be a glitch then. Hope I helped(ish)!

The same thing has happened to me several times recently in Pokemon black. However many of the Pokemon learned the missing move after leveling up again. I am sure there is nothing wrong with your Pikachu, it simply is a slow learner.

Jane’s Thunderwave must have become a TM when it was supposed to learn Thunderwave
