Should I not use my starter? And if not, what should I replace it with?

For Pokémon sword, I’ve seen a few strategies and smogon that does not include the starter. Should I not use it at all? And if so, what should I replace the starter with? Please include EVs, Nature, Moves, and level as well as what I should replace my starter with. You also may include the DLC mons.

There’s not much of a point in not using your starter, it’s a very solid Pokemon. With that said, there are a few Pokemon of each type that function quite well.

Again, there isn’t much point in not using your starter, but these are some solid choices if you don’t.
