Should I use Slowbro or Slowking for a SoulSilver in-game team?

I caught a Slowpoke on my Soulsilver shall I evolve it to a Slowbro or a Slowking?

Besides their stat differences (Bro = Def, King = SDef), they are pretty much the same besides a few differnet things.

Reasons to use Slowbro:1. It’s easier to get2. It’s my favorite Pokemon

Reason to use Slowking:1. It gets Nasty Plot which can give it a large edge

Let’s take a look at the stats shall we

SlowkingHP-95Attack-75Defense-80Sp.Atk-100Sp.Def-110Speed-30

Same stat base overall but Slowking has less Defense.

Let’s see the movepool.

SlowbroA rather deep and wide movepool.

SlowkingDeep movepool too but Slowbro has a deeper movepool.

So, it depends what you want, if you want a special attacker go with Slowking but if you want something bulky go with Slowbro.

Slowbro has more advantage because he can use calm mind properly than slowking becauseBy giving Slowbro bold nature,you can raise more defense and calm mind will raise his s defense and s attack

And slowbro is easier to get since you can just catch slowpoke and just lvl it up to evolve it
