Should we treat Event Emboar any different than regular Emboar?
I’m talking about Nature, EVs and eventually if we should keep the moves given or switch ‘em up too. Those are the moves the event one has:• Flare Blitz• Hold Back• Head Smash• Take Down
Emboar (M) @ Choice BandTrait: RecklessEVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDefAdamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)Flare BlitzHead SmashWild ChargeHammer Arm
Note: This is a moveset given byPokeMasterhimself, just adding this because it’s a “normal Emboar” movesetQUOTE:Emboar has an OK Special movepool. Here’s a good set.
Ability: BlazeEVs: SpAtk max, then Def/SpDef split.
FlamethrowerHidden Power Ice (if possible) or Focus BlastGrass Knot or Scald (don’t need both, they cover roughly the same)Double Team or Rest

My advice is to run a a Scarf set. Reckless provides ahugepower boost to the attacks it uses. So you should run the following set:
Emboar @ Choice ScarfAbility: RecklessJolly NatureEVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP-Flare Blitz-Wild Charge-Head Smash-Superpower
EDIT: Added another set.
This set forgoes the ability to smash stuff with Superpower, but allows you the freedom of switching moves.
Emboar @ Shell BellAbility: RecklessJolly NatureEVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP-Flame Charge-Flare Blitz-Wild Charge-Head Smash
Flame Charge will boost your Speed to the point where you can wreck big-time. Shell Bell is used because you need some way to heal off that recoil, and you’ll be dishing out mondo damage, so it’s semi-reliable recovery.
I’d like to add something else, you can treat hidden ability PIGNITE different, rest talk curse rock slide with thick fat 252 hp 246 special def 6 deffense(curse boost) with eviolite under trick room is an absolute beast.
