Talonflame or Pidgeot for my Pokemon X team?

My team will be:

Pidgeot / Talonflame

Scolipede

Aegislash

Rhydon

and Crobat

Please provide movesets for either of them and pros and cons!

Talonflame can do well against foes like Viola, Korrina, Ramos, Wulfric, Wikstrom, Diantha’s Hawlucha and Gourgeist, Tierno’s Roserade, and Lysandre’s Mienfoo/Mienshao.

Absolutely Talonflame, even without Gale Wings. It is blazing fast and has a serviceable Attack stat, as well as a great secondary typing in Fire. Pidgeot has a lower Attack stat, much lower Speed, and a terrible movepool.

The thing that really makes Talonflame infinitely better is its access to Brave Bird and Flare Blitz upon evolving, and Roost to heal off the recoil damage. Hard hitters with longevity are always welcome on teams
