Tentacool and Rapid Spin...

Hey there. I’m having some trouble trying to breed Rapid Spin on Tentacool. lt’s a Water 3 group and the only pokemon to learn it in Water 3 is Staryu. And Staryu is genderless. Am I missing something here or do I need some complex breed chain?

Breed a male Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise with Rapid Spin with a female Kabuto/Kabutops. When you get a male Kabuto with Rapid Spin, breed that with a female Tentacool/cruel. You’ll get one with Rapid Spin.

Yes, you do have to chain breed.

First get aMaleBlastoise/Wartortle/Squirtle and make sure it know Rapid Spin. Breed it with aFemaleKabuto/Kabutops and the egg will be a Kabuto with Rapid Spin, make sure the newly hatched Kabuto is aMALE. Then breed theMaleKabuto that knows Rapid Spin to a Female Tentacool/Tentacruel. The result will be a Tentacool with Rapid Spin.

Make sure it’s male.2). Breed it with afemale Cloyster(http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/cloyster) or afemale Shellder(http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/shellder) and keep trying until you get amale Shellder.3). Breed themale Shellderwith afemale Tentacool(http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/tentacool) to get aTentacool with Rapid Spin.
