Weird egg message in Pokemon Platinum?

So I’m doing a Pokemon Platinum Randomizer on my computer (I know, it’s bad of me to use an emulator, and for the egg I got from Cynthia the messge that showed the hatching process stated “This egg will take a long time to hatch.” I have taken 6000+ steps and the same message is displayed! What does this mean? Will the egg ever hatch?

EDIT:The Pokemon in the egg has 41 or more egg cycles, that is why it says “This egg will take a long time to hatch.” But the Pokemon in the egg (Which is aSPOILER ALERT) does on have 41 or more egg cycles, it has 11 egg cycles.The Pokemon in the egg must be one of these:All legendary Pokemon except Heatran and ManaphyGibleGabiteGarchompDratiniDragonairDragoniteHappiniyChanseyBlisseyLaprasMunchlaxSnorlaxPhioneLarvitarPupitarTyranitarWailmerWailordRelicanthBagonShelgonSalamenceBeldumMetangMetagross

ANOTHER EDIT:The egg could be any of the above Pokemon because you are playing a randomizer. (Forgot about that part.) But in the normal game it would have to be a Happiny from the “Unamed Hiker”

Since you are playing a randomizer, the egg could be anything, and not the normal Pokémon you obtain. Just be patient and keep cycling, since some Pokémon do take areallylong time to hatch. Of course, since it is an emulator it could also be glitched and have extra egg cycles.
