It was aformiddable foe for Ash as it took down Ash’s Pikachu & Cyndaquilwithout even sweating. Init, a trainer called Jimmy accidentally caught one while fishing.However as soon as he did that, a trainer came along and offered totrade it for his Charmeleon. Gyarados’s shiny form appeared in late Johto, however it wasn’tofficially a Shiny form. In it, Team Rocket were forcing evolutions ofMagikarp into Gyarados but the Gyarados failed to change Colour duringevolution. It got very angry and started a Rampage in the Lake of Rageand Mahogany time. Luckily Lance Captured it and stopped it.
