What are some ways to counter Topsy Turvy?

My friend has a Malamar and in fear of him using it against me I would like a few ideas.

Prepare a Latias. If your friend knows competitive playing, he will expect Calm Mind once, and will demolish it with Tospy-Turvy. You, instead, useDraco Meteor.He will give you a + sp.atk for free.Alternatively, prepare a Taunt user, or a Scizor. Use Bug Bite or any Bug move and Malamar is an old story. You can also use Magic Bounce (not sure if this works) to bounce back the changes.

Or any Pokémon that you think able to do it.

Ok so here are some nice ideas.

One of probably the most simple is to not use stat boosting moves but other than that…

Use a stat lowering move eg: Draco Meteor/Leaf Storm and then when your friend uses Topsy Turvy you get a stat boost.

Make your Pokémon faster than his. (This is so if you use eg: leaf storm then he will use Topsy Turvy after you and you get a stat boost.)

Get a fast Pokémon to use Swords Dance. When you think he’s gonna use Topsy Turvy Switch Out/Attack with a lot of power to OHKO.

Technically, it’s quite hard to counter as you can’t predict what your friend may do but I Hope I Helped! =]
