What are some/all anime errors?
I know there’s one with Officer Jenny calling her Growlithe its evoved form, Arcanine, to use Flamethrower. I know there’s more, so I was wondering if you can list all or some of the errors made in the Pokemon anime.Please help me! Thanks! :)

Early in the film, Ash’s Pikachu defeats Raymond’s Golem, a part Ground-type Pokémon with Thunderbolt, which should have had no effect.
Mewtwo is colored pink as it begins creating the storm. In a later shot of Mewtwo intensifying the storm, its color is corrected.
FergusandCorey’s backpacks shrink. Also, the top image shows the fourth Trainer who left for New Island. In two very similar shots at the beginning and end of the film, as Officer Jenny warns the Trainers about the storm, the backpacks of Corey and Fergus drastically shrink in size.
When Fergus releases his Gyarados into the water to ride on its back, its lips are blue instead of yellow.
When Jenny’s hat flies off, the loops of Miranda’s earrings are completely colored in.
In the dub, three Pokémon are referred to by the wrong name. Pidgeot was called Pidgeotto, Scyther was called Alakazam, and Sandslash was called Sandshrew. In the audio commentary, 4Kids stated that they decided to leave the Alakazam error as something for the children watching to notice and because they felt it was plausible in context that Team Rocket could make a mistake.
Fergus states that all of his Pokémon are Water types in the dub, but he also has a Nidoqueen, a Poison/Ground-type Pokémon.
While Ash is looking at Fergus’s Pokémon in the dub, his Japanese voice can be faintly heard over the voice of the Pokémon.
When Fergus runs over to his injured Gyarados, his Nidoqueen has the color scheme of a Nidoking.
Right before Ash charges at Mewtwo, one frame shows Rapidash without flames. This was fixed in later releases.
In the shot after Corey shows his Pokémon to Ash and his friends, Ash’s pupils are entirely brown instead of mostly black with very little brown.
When the clones enter with an explosion and emerge from the smoke, Pikachutwo’s black-tipped ears are the same as a normal Pikachu’s and Golduck is a green-teal instead of blue.
Pikachutwo’s cheek pouches surge with electricity even though Mewtwo blocked the Pokémon’s special abilities. However, the Japanese dialogue says nothing about the Pokémon’s abilities being blocked, and they simply clash physically out of pure hatred.
On the DVD scene selection, Togepi is listed as Pokémon #152. However, prior to the release of Pokémon Gold and Silver, Togepi had been given #152 in other media as well.
Brock is seen running around Professor Ivy’s Lab carrying normal-colored Nidorina and Paras despite the Pokémon on Valencia Island being alternately colored. A Paras was previously seen on Valencia in Poké Ball Peril.
Ash could have given Professor Oak the GS Ball, which was the reason he went to the Orange Islands in the first place, but instead waits until he gets back to Pallet Town. However, it is likely that this was done on purpose, as the movie, unlike the anime, was not initially released on “free” TV, and instead was a theatrical production.
When Melody and Misty first meet, Melody tells her “Oh, and Misty, try not to get jealous.” However, only Ash had been introduced at this point, while Misty’s and Tracey’s names were never mentioned.
At the beginning of the movie, Lawrence III’s computer says that the three legendary birds are unique to the Orange Islands, yet they are all found elsewhere multiple times in the anime, especially Articuno. The computer may have meant that their abilities were unique, as they seemed to affect the weather on a planetary scale, which the legendary birds in the televised anime were not known to do.
When Zapdos is captured, Ash and his friends are captured with the boat, but are then shown in the ship without it. Though before they are shown inside the ship it is clearly seen that the boat is stuck in part of the ship, so it may not have been freed.
When the sled is destroyed, Ash returns Charizard, but no Poké Ball is shown.
At one point, Maren erroneously refers to multiple Krabby as “Krabbies.” However, this error is intentional, as the incorrect form is used as a pun.
Professor Hale’s report on the Unown contains numerous mistakes. Not only is the species spelled as “Unknown”, but many spelling and grammar mistakes are made, as it is a rough translation of Japanese.
In the Brazilian Portuguese dub, Misty states that she was the Vermilion Gym Leader instead of Cerulean.
In the DVD commentary, Michael Haigney incorrectly states that Entei can talk due to it being a Fire/Psychic Pokémon. Entei is actually a pure Fire-type Pokémon, while its ability to talk was due to it being an construct of the Psychic-type Unown.
In the opening, Ash is shown in his normal clothes when receiving Pikachu instead of his pajamas.
When Mr. White is in his flying boat, his gloves disappear. They return in the next scene.
When Sammy runs out of the Lake of Life, his clothes are only wet up to his knees, despite having been in the water past his waist.
In one scene when Celebi is eating a berry, the blue tip of its left antenna is missing.
During the opening scene, Brock narrates how Ash met Pikachu as the events of the first episode are shown with new animation, but fraught with inconsistencies and errors. Ash is pictured fully clothed when he receives Pikachu, but he was in his pajamas at that point in the episode. Also in this scene, Pikachu’s Poké Ball surges with electricity as Ash holds it and Pikachu shakes his head after being released, neither of which occur in the episode. In the very next scene, Ash and Pikachu are running on foot from the flock of Spearow while a storm covers the sky, but the storm doesn’t occur until after Ash takes Misty’s bike in the episode. Ash’s hat faces forward during this entire cinematic, even while Ash and Pikachu are lying on the ground after defeating the Spearow. In the episode, he turns it backward right before jumping into the river with Pikachu and it stays that way for the rest of the episode (except for the very end, when his hat erroneously flips back and forth between scenes).
In one scene of Oakley typing on her computer, several keys on the keyboard disappear and reappear.
The original German DVD cover bizarrely used art from Destiny Deoxys1, but this has since been fixed. Unfortunately, the movie’s IMDb page uses this erroneous poster.
During the opening, a few Beedrill have purple heads.
When Ash first appears during the World of Pokémon segment, he has no mouth.
In one scene, Mudkip’s lower jaw is the same color as the rest of its body.
In another scene, Audrey’s Masquerain’s wings are white instead of orange.
In the DVD’s bonus features, Deoxys’s Ability is listed as Psychic (which is not an Ability). It is in fact Pressure, and Psychic is its type.
In the ending credits, Audrey and Katherine’s shirts are mainly yellow instead of cream.
When the two Deoxys land, both of their crystals are purple when one should be green.

When a bird’s eye view of the young Jackie surrounded by Pokémon was shown, the long feathers on the Altaria’s heads were white instead of the normal blue.

Yep, that’s a lot of episodes. You can look through every single one of them if you want. xD But you can also look atanime move errorsthat were previously posted, but were hidden.
There are also many YouTube videos focusing on anime errors, you might want to look at them. You’d be surprised. :P
If you want some pretty major anime errors, I can get a few from the top of my head. I’ll edit them as I remember them, and I’ll hopefully find an episode number so you can see for yourself.

The same Japanese voice over that is heard in Tanks for the Memories! is heard when Dawn sends out her Pokémon to play.
During part of the scene where Ash and Dawn’s Pokémon are running up the spiral staircase in the Space-Time Towers after being separated from their Trainers, Aipom was mistakenly left out.
During the scene where Ash is chasing Darkrai, a group of Murkrow is seen flying over a rooftop. However, their voices are left undubbed in the English version.
When Dawn’s Buizel and Brock’s Sudowoodo return to their Trainers after waking up and Lickilicky runs past them, Lickilicky momentarily overlaps with a tree behind it.
When Ash and Dawn are pulled into the Reverse World for the first time, Piplup’s arms are the same color as its head and “cape”.
When Piplup attempts to use BubbleBeam on Giratina, Shaymin’s flowers are a dark purple (the color they become when Shaymin absorbs pollution).
When Shaymin is about to approach Meowth, a few frames show its front paw has three toes instead of two.
During a scene in the Reverse World when Shaymin is in its Sky Forme, it uses its Land Forme’s voice.
When the last Magneton leaves the train to escape out the window, it uses the voice of a Magnemite.
When Giratina uses Will-O-Wisp in one scene, Pikachu jumps off the edge of a cliff to dodge, though he is back on the ledge in the next scene.
When Jessie holds the Jewel of Life in her hand after discovering it in the staff, during their fall, the Jewel of Life is reattached to the staff.
When Spiky-eared Pichu, Pikachu and Piplup are sneaking around on the beams, when they come to the beams over the silver water, one shot shows Piplup edging its way next to the wall, but the next shot shows it on the middle of the beam over the silver water.
As Arceus was shining in a green color, removing the armor of the Pokémon, an Electrike and Nosepass are seen in the place of Manectric and Probopass, making it look like the latter Pokémon devolved.
When Ash and his friends first go back in time, Sheena tells them that they went back to when Damos made his promise to Arceus. The day they went back to however, was when he betrayed Arceus.
Among the Pokémon attacking Arceus with Shock Wave were Baltoy and Claydol, despite both being unable to legally learn the move.
Giratina uses two different colored Will-O-Wisps, one is red and the other is blue.
When the movie was broadcast on German TV, the credits were omitted.
In the credits, Palmer’s Rhyperior’s mouth was the same color as its horn and the top-most part of its body.
During Kodai’s ‘apology’ broadcast, Peg can be briefly seen (while standing with Ash and his friends) with eyes drawn in the newer Sugimori style, as opposed to all of the other times in the movie when she is seen with older-style eyes.
As Ash asks “What do you mean?” in the scene when Ash and his friends were trapped in the cage by Kodai, Dawn’s hair clip is the same color as her hair.
Bronzor’s Psychic was used to levitate Zorua. In the games, this would not have worked because Zorua is a Dark-type Pokémon.
Among the Pokémon using Bullet Seed is Kricketune, a Pokémon unable to legally learn the move.
In both movies, just before Victini reveals itself to the group, Ash asks Victini if it lent him its powers. When Ash says this, his lips do not move with the rest of his mouth.
In the English dub, the voice of a Reuniclus can be heard in many scenes involving the Solosis and Duosion in the castle despite the fact that Reuniclus can only be seen there during flashback scenes to the Kingdom of the Vale.
Kyurem was able to freeze the three Swords of Justice with Ice Burn, and Keldeo with Freeze Shock, while in games these moves cause burn and paralysis, respectively.
In a scene during the film’s credits, Ash’s eyebrow is drawn over his hair.
In the initial Cartoon Network airing of this film, the opening song has an error in which the voices of the characters on screen can be heard over the song itself. This is corrected in the DVD release.
There is an error in the Johto region episodes. In the episode “Hocus Pokemon” when Ashachu tells Togepi, murkrow, and pikachu to go play, you see all of the Pokemon playing. But when it shows the magician, Brock, and misty talking, Togepi is in Misty’s arms. Also, in that episode, Brock calls Ash “Ass” instead of Ash
I noticed two:
In Sinnoh League Victors, when Ash was battling Conway, Dawn checked Noctowl on her Pokedex. The Pokedex forgot to say that Noctowl evolves from Hoothoot.
Also, in Pokemon BW (Pokemon Black and White), when Ash checked Ampharos on his Pokedex, the Pokedex said that Ampharos evolved from Mareep, not Flaafy.
I know…let’s see…two…-Anyway, not sure what episode it is, but in the XY series when Ash is battling Valerie (Laverre Gym Leader), in one of the shots, Sawyer’s Treecko’s lower jaw is incorrectly colored green like the rest of its body instead of red
-And in XY136 (part of XYZ series,Forming a More Perfect Union), when Alain and Ash enter the Giant Rock, Alain’s Mega Ring isn’t where it usually is (on his wrist)
