What are the chances of getting a perfect Pokemon with a 6iv ditto?

What are the chances of breeding a Pokémon with a 6iv ditto to produce a perfect IV Pokemon? It seems awfully rare that with my 6iv ditto I’m able to breed a perfect Pokemon. Would I need to rebreed continually and pair the ditto with the “best of the litter” to increase my chances?

Remember that this is rough guide and breeding all depends on Luck most of the time :)

If you have the Ditto hold the Destiny Knot, it passes down 5 IVS in between the two parents. If you breed two perfect Pokemon, you have a very high chance of getting a 5IV baby. However, the 6th IV is all up to chance. You could have one of the parents hold a Power Bracer to increase the chances. With the Destiny Knot and the Power Bracer, you have a 1/32 chance of getting a perfect Pokemon.
