First off, Battles itself is a huge term, there are some genres:

First off, there isNormal rules, here they are:-No. of Pokemon: No restrictionsPokemon level: Set all to Lv. 50Special Pokemon: PermittedSame Pokemon: PermittedSame items: Permitted

Secondly there areFlat rules:-No. of Pokemon: 3Pokemon level: Up to Lv. 50Special Pokemon: BannedSame Pokemon: BannedSame items: Banned

Lastly there are’No restrictons’rules:-No. of Pokemon: No restrictionsPokemon level: No restrictionsSpecial Pokemon: PermittedSame Pokemon: PermittedSame items: Permitted

Here’s what that meant:

No. of Pokemon: The ones that you can use in battles, the maximum 6, the minimum 3Pokemon level: What their levels will be, either Set to 50 (no matter what all Pokemon at lvl 50), Upto 50 (if the Pokemon’s level is more than 50, it will be rouded off to 50, else it will retain it’s level) and No restrictions (meaning the Pokemon will be the level they are, there will be no changes)Special Pokemon: Legendary Pokemon with BST over 600Same Pokemon: Speaks for itselfSame items: Again, speaks for itself

PS - Battle Spot strictly follows Flat rules in all formats of battles (single, double, triple, rotation)
