I think he means a moveset that is fit for the average Flying-type, Trachy. In which case, I’d probably pick Staraptor or Dodrio. Staraptor is basically a suicide attacker, while Dodrio is weaker, but less risky:

Well, I wouldn’t really consider Charizard a bird Pokemon, but since it is on your list, then sure, use it. Charizard is quite amazing. Use this moveset to destroy the foe:

Hold Item: Salac BerrySubstituteFlamethrowerDragon PulseHidden Power Grass/Focus Blast

The strategy here is to use Substitute until you activate the Salac Berry and Charizard’s Blaze ability, allowing Flamethrower to do a ton of damage. Dragon Pulse is to deal with Dragon types and HP Grass and Focus Blast are for further type coverage.
