What is a good LC Moveset for Elekid?

Elekid @ Air BalloonAbility: StaticLevel: 5EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Volt Switch- Substitute- Psychic- Toxic

Elekid’s only weaknesses are ground types. Using air balloon for this can be helpful. Elekid’s ability static helpful too for paralyzing the target. Volt Switch is a good move to use when you have more than one Pokémon. Substitute is a tactical move which protects elekid from attacks. Psychic is a coverage special move which deals good damage. Toxic is a good move too if you can use it in a certain time.

here’s a set:Elekid @ EvioliteAbility: StaticLevel: 5EVs: 236 SpA / 236 SpeModest NatureIVs: 0 Atk- Discharge (STAB and 30% chance to paralyze)- Psychic/volt switch (coverage/ can help with stall with toxic or set-up with light screen help)- Light Screen (good support move)- Toxic (same as above)

I am surprised no one is taking advantage of that 95 base Speed.

-Thunderbolt-Psychic-Volt Switch- Round/Uproar/Thunder Wave

This set takes full advantage of Elekid’s base 95 for sweeping capabilities. These moves are STAB, coverage and the ability to switch out, but man, this things movepool is trash. Round is coverage. Uproar if you want to be daring, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Thunder Wave is simple utility. I would go Round.

If it had Flamethrower I could’ve made a full special set, guess not… Anyway, Thunderbolt is STAB, Psychic is coverage, Ice Punch hits Ground types super effectively, Fire Punch is good coverage while Cross Chop is stronger but less accurate.
