I just got absolutely screwed over by a Phantump in Gen 8 LC, and the user that beat me was kind enough to give me the set, so I thought I’d share it here. Curse and Substitute put dents in your health, but that’s what the Oran Berry is for – and that’s where Harvest comes in too. The Phantump I played against was paired with a Vulpix, allowing it to recover its Oran Berry every single time it’s consumed. Giga Drain recovers more health, and Phantump is bulky enough to live a neutral hit.

The set can be shut down by a faster Knock Off, Taunt, or high-powered super effective move, but if you catch an opponent by surprise, you’ll almost certainly deal a lot of damage, if not outright KO a Pokemon. Even if you don’t, you’ll probably annoy them to no end.
