A good moveset for Ponyta?She can be used as a very fast sweeper.

I’d give it this set:Ponyta @ Life OrbTrait: Flash FireLevel: 5EVs: 236 SDef / 36 AtkCareful Nature- Flare Blitz- Wild Charge- Morning Sun- Hypnosis

The Life Orb matches up perfectly with Wild Charge and Flare Blitz, dealing tons of damage with every hit, however the recoil is deadly. This is the reason we have Hypnosis and Morning sun. Say after taking a hit and hitting once you’re down to 42% HP left. If Hypnosis hits you have a free morning sun and possibly a free hit. Careful nature and the EVs will increase it’s chances of survival. The 36 Attack EVs investment are there for a little boost in attack.

Just as a side note, because it has the highest base stat doesn’t make it the best LC Pokemon, just sayin'.

Flare Blitz/Flame Charge deals STAB damage, and Flame Charge has a raises Speed. Agility allows you to almost guarantee a first hit. Sunny Day boosts Flare Blitz/Flame Charge and allows SolarBeam to cover Rock/Ground/Water. Once this thing has set up, it’s going kill you! :P

This is one of my favourite sets for Ponyta. It is fast, powerful and sweeps great in the LC tier. Solar Beam for Water, Ground and Rock weakness coverage. Fire Blast is STAB and Hidden Power [Fighting] is for extra coverage. Then finally, Morning Sun is for healing and in Sun it works great.__

It’s hard to choose the moves but for sure ponyta is a sweeper …What you want to pick its up to you..NOTE• And I think you use Solar blade than Low kick that two is for coverage…• If you have another Pokemon with sunny day use agility , will-O-Wisp,protect or morning sun as status…
