Sobble might not have the best tools to take advantage of Sniper, but getting an occasional crit that does more damage is always good. Surf is STAB. Mud Shot is coverage. U-turn is for pivoting. Aqua Jet is STAB priority.

Sobble is by far the best Galar starter.

Pretty simple. The Scarf allows it to outspeed other priority users, and even though Sniper is a good ability, I like Torrent more. Hasty is so you can boost your speed without worrying about lowering your attack. Ice Shard is priority and hits for SE damage on grass types, U-Turn works well with the Choice Scarf, Surf is STAB, and Weather Ball is for coverage when it’s not raining.

Dual Screens Sobble.It sets up screens,then uturns out of the battleinto a sweeper.Surf can remove Onix if you get past the speed tie and it can remove scorbunny and other fire types.
