Huge Power makes this Pokemon somewhat of a monster.Because what Huge Power does (common misconception as seen in other answers) is double the ATK stat of the Pokemon and not the Base stat.This means that it’s base ATK stat is not 112 but somewhere closer to 160 hitting 464 ATK when maxed out. The Rabbit may look stupid but it actually hits harder than Groudon.

When equipped with Choice Band it’s ATK stat reaches a scary 696.

Tier wise, I can see it being RU if not possibly UU. It has two terrifying stabs as well as access to priority, similar to Azumaril. However it lacks bulk and speed and is weak to common offensive types (especially in lower tiers) such as Water, Fighting and Ice. It will be a solid check to Doublade which I think we can expect to be a top threat in lower tiers.

Earthquakeis the reason you’d use Diggersby; it deal heavy damage to Steels and Rocks expecting Normal moves. And thanks to the Scarf, it can do this efficiently.Return, paired with Earthquake, creates perfect neutral coverage on single type Pokemon.U-Turnis to scout and troll people with your unexpected Speed. It brings your momentum up, and is perfect for VolTurn/HO teams.Wild Chargehits Greninja, Gyarados, Talonflame and most importantly, Skarmory for super effective damage.
Diggersby is definitely a weird Pokemon. But if you give it support, it can work the way you want it to; as a fast scout.

Agility up and sweep. Return is STAB and good neutral coverage. Earthquake also is STAB, hitting lots of Steels for good damage. Wild Charge is for common Water-types and Skarmory, who walls this set otherwise.
I did use this guy in-game and he had the ability Cheek Pouch. So I had to utilize it.

Spikes setter, with U-turn for scouting, Toxic for stalling, and Super Fang for bringing down any big walls you might have trouble with. Thinking of Pokemon like Regirock, or Musharna with their massive bulk. Of course they can heal it off but it’s still extremely annoying. Sitrus Berry + Cheek Pouch is really good healing and will quite often get you to full health. Not as good as the other available sets, but a possibility, if needed.
Looking at this guy’s stats I cannot see him in higher tiers, in fact I can’t even see him in RU, but what do I know?
So I figure, since he’ll be in NU, we’ll give him a base 112 Attack stat.

With Huge Power your base attack is doubled to 112, and with Agility you can outspeed most things that would otherwise outspeed you. EdgeQuake for coverage, and Earthquake/Return are STAB.

So basically, I just dished in Bulk Up. This is made for getting a late game sweeper. I wanted at first the same set as Blob, but just noticed it was not mandatory. ATTENTION: This is walled by any member of Gengar’s family, except Mega Gengar. Bulk Up makes it up for the lack of EVs in its physical Bulk, whereas Agility makes up for the lack of Speed. Thus, I could focus on Special Defense and HP. It gets the Ground typing, which grants it with an immunity to Thunder Wave, making it hard to slow down. Once you setup correctly- and Pimpnite should try it to make an epic Diggersby sweep- use either the terrible STAB Earthquake or the priority Quick Attack to make it easier to seize victory.

Contrary to popular belief, Huge Power does not double thebaseAttack stat. Huge Power doubles the actual Attack stat of the Pokémon. That is why Diggersby could be a possible OU candidate for this generation.
In this set, I focus mainly on Diggersby being able to stay alive while being able to sweep decently. With a below average base speed stat of 78 (compared to the rest of the metagame), it is more important for Diggersby to be able to take a few hits rather than outspeed. Hence, the Leftovers and investment in health.
EdgeQuake gives Diggersby great coverage as well as a STAB Return.Wild Charge is for getting rid of pesky Water/Flying-types trying to switch into an Earthquake or Stone Edge.
Warning:This Pokemon will get demolished by decent Fighting-types or Grass-types. Make sure to switch into a Fighting-check like Trevenant if any of them try to switch in.
Checks/Counters:Chesnaught - Chesnaught will be able to wall most moves from Diggersby and return a few STAB Grass/Fighting moves. WATCH OUT!
Mega-Medicham - Great Attack stat and decent Speed. Expect a (most likely OHKO) STAB Fighting move from this before you get a chance to attack it.
Double Dancin' Diggersby

This set takes a double dance approach to Diggersby. You should always aim to set up Agility first, as Diggersby has a good amount of attacking power already. If you can set up Swords Dance, that’s even better. Return and Knock Off have the best neutral coverage among moves, and allow it to hit a large amount of Pokemon in OU, particularly Gengar.

This is one of the best Gen 6 Pokémon. Almost everything gets knocked out in one hit. Brick Break and Wild Charge aren’t the best moves; the first 2 are the moves I use most. It’s just a good Pokémon, love it.
I managed to one-shot a Blaziken with a Quick Attack, then a Metagross with Facade using this.

You don’t get brilliant coverage, but one or two Swords Dances, and Facade should be one-shotting a lot of Pokemon, with its base power 140 once you’re poisoned.Even without Swords Dance this is a beastly attack Pokemon.

Oh, and FYI, the nickname is a reference to it’s in-game animation of using Return. It’s pretty beastly.Anyways, Swords Dance to boost its already amazing Attack stat. You can set up because of Focus Sash. Return + Earthquake are powerful STABs and Quick Attack is priority because it’s not that fast.
ORAS Choice Band/Scarf Diggersby

Earthquake is a powerful STAB move but is a bit risky locking yourself into.Return is another powerful STAB move that hits almost everything hard. Quick Attack is an alternative to pick off weakened Pokemon with priority.Knock Off is one of the many new toys that Diggersby received from the ORAS move tutors.Very useful to remove items and most importantly dealing with Gengar.Fire Punch is another new toy it received. It has good coverage with the other moves, hitting Grass, Ice, certain Steel types and Bug types hard. Ice Punch is also another option that also hits Grass types along with Ground, Flying and Dragon types.
Other options include Gunk Shot which smashes Fairy and Grass types, Superpower and Low Kick which has good coverage with its Normal and Ground STAB, Iron Head or Iron Tail which is another option to hit Fairy types and Wild Charge which can hit some Flying types harder than Ice Punch as well as hitting Water types. Diggersby unfortunately now suffers from 4 move slot syndrome though.

With Check Pouch and Sitrus Berry + Recycle, this Pokemon has great potential! Toxic for the stall, Power-Up-Punch to gain power, and Gastro Acid was somewhat useful for removing abilities, although I would have EQ!

Return - STABEarthquake - STABAgility - Allows you to out speed most Pokémon, even while Adamant
The last move is a toss up between Fire Punch and Thunder Punch. Fire Punch can deal with Grass- and Ice-types, along with Bug-types like Heracross and Scizor, who Diggersby normally doesn’t have any means to counter. Thunder Punch on the other hand allows you to deal with really annoying Water-types like Greninja and Vaporeon, along with Flying-types, which Diggersby is usually at a disadvantage against.
Either way, there’s nothing scarier than a quick footed powerhouse with a bit of bulk and coverage.
