Lilligant @ Leftovers / Life OrbAbility: ChlorophyllEVs: 22 HP / 252 SpA / 236 SpeModest Nature-Giga Drain/Solar Beam-Hidden Power[Fire]-Sleep Powder-Dream Eater

This is special sweeping Lilligant without Quiver Dance, use only with sun support.Giga Drainis healing andSTAB, but if you are confident that your weather will stay and want more power,Solar Beamis a great choice.Hidden Poweris one of Lilligant’s ONLY offensive moves that is not Grass-type [only 4 Special ones and two are Normal type (Hyper Beam and Round)] so it is a must, Fire is the best type for it, as it gets boosted by Sun and covers many types.Sleep Powderis great for Lilligant, in fact with Chlorophyll Lilligant is one of the fastest sleep inducers in the game (Jumpluff is faster and the fastest without boosts is Crobat).Dream Eaterheals and has the kind of coverage Lilligant needs, because without it this set gets stalled by Fire and Dragon-types, now only 9 Pokemon resist it.

Lilligant (F) @ Miracle SeedAbility: Own TempoEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Sleep Powder- Quiver Dance- Petal Dance- Hidden Power [Fire] / Hidden Power [Rock]

Own Tempo keeps you from being confused by Petal Dance.HP Fire and Rock both give excellent coverage.Sleep Powder puts your opponent to sleep so you can set up Quiver Dance.

Fun in the Sun:

Lilligant @ Wise GlassesAbility: ChlorophyllEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeModest Nature- Sunny Day- Solar Beam- Entrainment- Sleep Powder / Leech Seed

Sunny Day : Base speed doubledSolar Beam : STAB, first turn use with Sunny DayEntrainment : Pass Chlorophyll to your ally in doubles so base speed is doubledSleep Powder / Leech Seed : Stalling and draining

Gen 9 NU Sun SweeperLilligant @ Life OrbAbility: ChlorophyllTera Type: FairyEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeModest NatureIVs: 0 Atk- Growth- Solar Beam / Giga Drain- Alluring Voice- Weather Ball

Since (Auto) Sun teams are quite good and dominant in NU at the time of this post, (Scovillain went from UR to A on NU’s Viability Rankings because of sun) here is a Growth Sweeper set Lilligant can use on Sun teams in Gen 9 NU. Growth is used over Quiver Dance for the move that boosts Lilligant’s Special Attack since Growth gives a +2 Special Attack boost under sun, and Lilligant has Chlorophyll to outspeed faster Pokemon in NU. Solar Beam is used for the Grass STAB since it is powerful and is used in one turn while sun is up. You can use Giga Drain instead for a Grass STAB that can be used outside of Sun and to heal off damage. Alluring Voice allows Lilligant to hit Dragon and Dark-types such as Noivern, Umbreon, Goodra, and Pokemon who can use Tera Dragon such as Magnezone and Reuniclus. Weather Ball becomes a Fire move in the sun, givng Lilligant a move to hit Steel and opposing Grass-types such as Magnezone (pre Tera), Klefki, Copperajah, Tsareena, Brambleghast, Venusuar, and Lilligant. Life Orb is used to give Lilligant’s attacks more power. Tera Fairy is used to make Alluring Voice a STAB move and is useful to resist Sucker Punch. Modest Nature is used to give Lilligant as much power as possible and can afford to since Modest Chlorophyll Lilligant can outspeed Choice Scarf Mienshao.

A new and more original take on the Sun sweeper set.

Lilligant @ Life Orb / LeftoversAbility: Leaf GuardEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeModest / Timid Nature- Quiver Dance- Sleep Powder- Giga Drain / Solar Beam- Hidden Power [Fire] / [Ice] / [Ground]

This is not the normal Chlorophyll sweeping Lilligant. This is much more fun one. In case you don’t know, Leaf Guard makes the user immune to all status ailments (bar the self-inflicted ones, so no Petal Dance or Rest) under the Sun. This makes Lilligant have a better time sweeping as it gets a Quiver Dance up and cannot be stopped by a crippling Thunder Wave or Toxic.

The set is basically straight-forward from there.Quiver Dancecould be considered as one of the best moves in the game on account that it boosts 3 different stats.Sleep Powdercan cripple the opposition and allow Lilli to get more set up time. The 3rd slot is reserved for a STAB grass move, the first of which isGiga Drain, which can pair nicely with Life Orb to balance out the damage loss, orSolarbeamwhich is super powerful under the sun, but turns to crap when it isn’t, so be cautious. Finally, you have a choice between one of threeHidden Powers.Firegets a boost from the Sun and completley nails Ferro and Forry,Icehits Gliscor and Landorus-T, andGrounddecimates Heatran.

Lilligant @ LeftoversAbility: Own TempoEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Sleep Powder- Quiver Dance- Petal Dance / Energy Ball- Hidden Power [Rock]

A Sleeper Sweeper Set that can be used really effectively.

Deadly Slumber

Lilligant, this Pokemon is elegant and lethal! With this moveset, you can sweep teams with ease!

Lilligant@Choice Specs/Big RootAbility:Own TempoEVs:4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe OR 252 SpDModest / TimidNature~Sleep Powder~Quiver Dance~Petal Dance~Dream Eater

~Sleep Powder{Allows you to set up with Quiver Dance, and enables the use of Dream Eater}.~Quiver Dance{Raises special attack, special defence and speed}.~Petal Dance{Strong Grass type move, STAB, Own Tempo Prevents confusion}.~Dream Eater{Strong Psychic type move, coverage, restore HP}.

Note:I’ve never actually played online, so this set is completely hypothetical. Having said that, how’s this for an oddball combo?

Lilligant @ Wise GlassesAbility: Own TempoEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Entrainment- Teeter Dance- Quiver Dance- Petal Dance

Entrainment- To use on an ally, changing their ability Own Tempo and making them immune to Teeter Dance.

Teeter Dance- Confuses opponents, giving Lilly a chance to set up with Quiver Dance.

Quiver Dance- A few of these and Lilly should be fast enough and strong enough to be a decent sweeper.

Petal Dance- Taking into account the STAB and the 10% bonus from Wise Glasses, Petal Dance’s base power becomes a whopping 198, with Own Tempo preventing confusion.

Should work with a Drought partner like Mega Charizard Y.

Lilligant @ Focus SashAbility: ChlorophyllEVs: 252 SpA / 252 SpeModest Nature-Quiver Dance-Giga Drain-Entrainment-Sleep Powder

Chlorophylldoubles Lilligant’s speed during Drought.Focus Sashkeeps Lilligant from dying on the first turn.Entrainmentspreads the fun.Quiver Dancefor monster special attack, a little buff, and extra speed when Drought ends.Giga Drainis STAB and heals Lilligant up to most of the time full health.Sleep Powderto be annoying.

Lilligant @ Focus SashAbility: Own TempoEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Petal Dance- Quiver Dance- Sleep Powder- Synthesis / Giga Drain / Leech Seed

I usually use this set with hazards. On Pokemon that aren’t Grass-type, this set can wreak havoc. Put your opponent to sleep, use Quiver Dance once or twice (the Focus Sash is for if you miss, or they wake up early), then sweep with Petal Dance! With Own Tempo, you won’t get confused from it. The 4th slot is for healing.

Gen 8 ZULilligant (F) @ LeftoversAbility: Own TempoEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeModest NatureIVs: 0 Atk- Quiver Dance- Petal Dance- Sleep Powder- Nature Power

Quiver Dance boosts your special attack, special defense, and speed. Petal Dance is STAB and Lilligant can’t confused by using Petal Dance thanks to Own Tempo. Sleep Powder is to put the opponent to sleep and can help you set of Quiver Dance. Nature Power turns into Tri Attack outside of terrain and can burn, paralyze, or freeze an opponent when the opposing Pokemon isn’t asleep. You can use this in Electric Terrain to turn Nature Power into Thunderbolt. Be careful when in Electric Terrain though, as you can’t put grounded Pokemon to sleep.

Gen 9 NU Quiver DanceLilligant @ Leftovers / Life OrbAbility: Own TempoTera Type: Ice / Fire / GroundEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeTimid NatureIVs: 0 Atk- Quiver Dance- Sleep Powder- Petal Dance / Giga Drain- Tera Blast

If you want to use Lilligant in NU, here is a Quiver Dance set for it. Quiver Dance boosts Lilligant’s Special Attack, Specia Defense, and Speed, allowing it to break through teams. Sleep Powder puts opposing Pokemon to sleep, giving Lilligant more setup opportunities. Petal Dance is used for a powerful Grass STAB that doesn’t confuse you thanks to Own Tempo. Giga Drain can be used instead to give Lilligant some recovery and longevity. Tera Blast provides nice coverage to whatever Pokemon you want to beat depending on the Tera Type you use. Tera Blast Ice allows you to deal super effective damage to Goodra. Tera Blast Fire deals super effective damage to Steel-types, Ice-types and opposing Grass-types. Tera Blast Ground hits Fire-types, Poison-types, and Steel-types super effectively. Leftovers provides Lilligant with some HP recovery. Life Orb can be used to give Lilligant more power and works well with Giga Drain to heal off the Life Orb recoil.

Gen 9 NU Quiver DanceLilligant @ Life OrbAbility: ChlorophyllTera Type: RockEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeTimid NatureIVs: 0 Atk- Quiver Dance- Giga Drain- Pollen Puff- Tera Blast

A Quiver Dance set that’s updated for the current Gen 9 NU meta. This set is honestly the current best offensive Quiver Dance set for Lilligant coverage wise for Gen 9 NU. Quiver Dance boosts Lilligant’s Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed stats, making it a potent sweeper that can be scary. Giga Drain is used for the Grass STAB on this set since it allows Lilligant to recover HP, which lets Lilligant heal off the damage taken as well as healing off the recoil from Life Orb. Pollen Puff may seem like a useless coverage move for Lilligant, but it is useful against Grass-types such as Cacturne, Appletun, and Lurantis. Tera Blast with Rock as the Tera type allows Lilligant to have a coverage move that hits Flying- and Fire-types such as Pyroar, Oricorio, Scyther, Bombirdier, and Vivillon. Life Orb is used to increase Lilligant’s damage output. Chlorophyll is used as the Ability since Own Tempo isn’t needed since this set doesn’t have Petal Dance.

Lilligant @ Leftovers / Weakness PolicyAbility: ChlorophyllEVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe- Giga Drain- Quiver Dance- Sleep Powder- Hidden Power [Fire] / Hidden Power [Rock]

Weakness Policy - Can catch enemies off guard with a big special attack boost.Giga Drain - STAB + HealingQuiver Dance - Lilligant’s best set-up tool.Sleep Powder - Can shut down the enemy and allow for a few quiver dances.Hidden Power Fire - Great offensive tool, can hit a lot of types for big damage.Hidden Power Rock - Takes out 4 of Lilligants 5 weaknesses.Chlorophyll - Lilligant can outspeed and hit very hard with grass type attacks. 2x her speed can most likely outspeed everything else on the field.
