Perrserker @ life orbAbility: Tough ClawsEVs: 252 Atk / 248 Sp.Def / 8 HPBrave nature and 0 Speed IV’s to maximise damage from Gyro Ball
Basically you can do some serious damage with Gyro Ball + Life Orb + Tough Claws + Its slow speed + Curse. You could also use an Iron Ball to halve its speed so Gyro Ball does more damage but Life Orb is just better as it powers up all moves, not just Gyro Ball. Main drawback of this guy is that it won’t do well against slow bulky ground types, which a lot of them are.
BTW this is my first ever answer so feedback would be appreciated :D
Perrserker @ Life Orb / Expert BeltAbility: Tough ClawsEVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpDAdamant Nature- Iron Head- Close Combat- Gunk Shot / Crunch / Seed Bomb- Play Rough / Shadow Claw / Throat Chop / U-Turn
Pretty underwhelming stats. Iron Head and Close Combat pair pretty nicely, but the rest of the moveset is up to preference of what coverage you need on your team.
Perrserker @ Focus SashAbility: Steely SpiritEVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 DefImpish Nature- Iron Head- Taunt- Protect- Fake Out
This set is a good support Pokemon with Steel types like Excadrill and Iron Head Cinderace. Because of it’s ability, it boosts the power of Steel type moves by 1.5 times. That and access to Fake Out makes it a very good partner to steel types.
252+ Atk Life Orb Excadrill Helping Hand Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Rillaboom: 316-372 (92.6 - 109%) – 56.3% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Duraludon Helping Hand Max Steelspike vs. 220 HP / 0 SpD Tyranitar in Sand: 440-522 (111.1 - 131.8%) – guaranteed OHKO
(I used Helping Hand Boost because it’s the same multiplier.)
Perrserker @ Scope Lens
Nature: Adamant (+Attack, -Sp. Attack)Trait: Tough ClawsEVs: 252 Attack, 252 Defense, 6 HP
Moves:
Iron Head: STAB, powered up by tough claws, and has a chance of making the opponent flinch. Perrserker learns it on evolution.Shadow Claw: Has a high critical hit ratio, with the scope lens, it will have a 1/2 chance of being critical. it’s powered up by tough claws, and learned by TM.Night Slash: Has a high critical Hit ratio, with the scope lens, it will have a 1/2 chance of being critical. It’s powered up by tough claws, and is learned by Breeding.Swords DanceorHone Claws: Swords dance increases the Attack stat by 2 stages, while Home claws increases both Attack and Accuracy by 1 stage.
Perrserker@LeftoversAbility:Tough ClawsNature:BraveEVs:252 Attack 252 HP 4 DefenseMake sure you have 0 IVs in speed•Gyro Ball:STAB, he is slow, Tough Claws boost•Fake Out:Just for a little bit of damage, Tough Claws boost•Close Combat:Strong, Tough Claws Boost•U-Turn/Seed Bomb:CoverageBest on trick room teams. If you are using him in trick room, use U-Turn. If not, use Seed Bomb
Perrserker has low special defense, so that could be worrysome, so give it the assault vest. but if you need status moves than use expert belt so coverage moves can work better.
All out attack set:
Perrserker @Assault VestAbility: Tough ClawsEVs: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 4 SpDIVs: 0 speAdamant Nature (-SpA +Atk)
All moves are tough claws boosted.
Gyro ball is STAB and powerful with the low speed.
Night slash and play rough are weakness coverage moves. I prefer night slash cause the high crit chance but play rough is good too.
Thrash: Powerful, 2-3 turns and you can switch if the confusion hurts too bad.
Iron tail or iron head: its accuracy or power. they both have STAB too.
Balanced:
Perrserker @Expert beltAbility: Tough ClawsEVs: 252 Atk, 252 SpD, 4 HPIVs: 0 speSassy nature (-Spe +SpD)
Gyro ball is STAB and powerful with no speed, also works well with curse
Facade: underrated move that is helpful with burn setbacks
Iron tail goes with home claws and lash out goes with close combat
so that’s just two movesets I have. perrserker is kinda weak in its move pool but with the right setups it can be useful
Perrserker @ LeftoversAbility: Steely SpiritEVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpDSassy NatureIVs: 0 Spe- Gyro Ball- Curse- Rest- Sleep Talk
Gyro Ball is STAB and gets boosted by Steely Spirit. Curse boosts Perrserker’s attack and defense, along with lowering speed, which will boost the power of Gyro Ball. Rest is for healing. Sleep Talk is to either attack or boost your attack and defense if Sleep Talk doesn’t land on Rest. It’s best to take out any Pokémon that threaten Perrserker before sending it out.
I have beaten at least 20 people with this metal cat, here’s my moveset.
Perrserker @ Metal CoatAbility: Steely Spirit252 Atk/220 SDef/36 HPNature: Adamant
Iron HeadSeed BombFoul Play/CrunchFake Out/U-turn
I tried to make something original. Seed bomb is coverage for those annoying ground types. Foul Play is also good to cover, as ground and fighting types are usually physical and foul play can use that against them. Crunch is better tho for me :/ Iron head is the best part. STAB+Steely Spirit+Metal Coat make for a total power of (correct me if I’m wrong) a whopping216power. That’s a lot if you ask me. Fake out is for a little extra damage and U-turn makes it a good offensive pivot.
Gen 8 ZUPerrserker @ Assault VestAbility: Tough ClawsEVs: 248 HP / 80 Atk / 64 SpD / 116 SpeAdamant Nature- Fake Out- Iron Head- Close Combat- U-turn
Pretty much theAssault Vest on here, but a little customized. Fake Out is for priority free chip damage and is boosted by Tough Claws. Iron Head is for STAB and is also boosted by Tough Claws. Close Combat is for coverage that also gets boosted by Tough Claws and allows you to beat Pokemon like Coalossal, opposing Perrserker, and Klinklang super effectively. U-Turn is for pivoting and also gets boosted by Tough Claws. 252 HP is to help maximize bulk. 80 Attack EVs is to give your attacks a little power. 116 Speed EVs allow you to outspeed non speed invested Alcremie. The rest of the EVs are dumped into special defense.
Perrserker doesn’t like fire types, so fire type checks like Basculin and Cramorant are useful, the latter also having an immunity to ground moves. Cramorant also clears entry hazards, which Persserker hates since it tends to pivot out using U-Turn and does not like taking chip damage. Tangela is also a good teammate due to its resistance to ground moves. It also appreciates Perreserker’s resistance to ice and flying moves.
Gen 9 NU Stealth RockPerrserker @ LeftoversAbility: Tough ClawsTera Type: FlyingEVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 SpeCareful Nature- Stealth Rock- Iron Head- Close Combat- U-turn
With access to Stealth Rock in Gen 9 and Copperajah moving from NU to RU, Perrserker has a niche as a Steel-type who can setup Stealth Rock as well as pivot out with U-turn. Stealth Rock chips opposing Pokemon switching in. Iron Head is used for a Steel STAB. Close Combat provides coverage against Pokemon such as Chansey and Tera Steel Eelektross. U-turn allows Perrserker to serve as a pivot and bring in a teammate. Tera Flying allows Perrserker to to turn its Ground weakness to an immunity as well as its Fighting weakness to a resistance. Tough Claws is use to give all of Perrserker’s attacks pn this set more power.
