Roserade (F) @ Focus SashAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpDCalm Nature- Giga Drain- Sludge Bomb- Toxic Spikes- Rest
PBs set from Smogon
Gen V Set for Roselia
Roselia (M) @ EvioliteAbility: Natural CureEVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpDModest Nature- Toxic Spikes- Spikes- Giga Drain- Venoshock
Gen V
Roserade (F) @ LeftoversAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 4 SpeModest Nature- Toxic Spikes- Sleep Powder- Giga Drain- Venoshock
So my Roserade has:
Roserade @ Black SludgeAbility: Natural CureEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeModest Nature- Leaf Storm- Rest- Hidden Power [Rock]- Sludge Bomb
Sludge Bomb is a great move and has 135 base power STAB, also can poison.Hidden Power Rock is so great as it covers 3 of Roserade’s 4 weaknesses.Rest is to heal Roserade. Switch out to awaken Roserade, using Natural Cure. You can use Leaf Storm, and then use Rest and switch Roserade out, which negates the stat loss. Then you can repeat with 210 Base Power STAB Leaf Storm, that doesn’t get weaker every time.
This is a great set and personally think the best possible Roserade set.
Here’s what I use:
Roserade (F) @ Choice SpecsAbility: Natural CureEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Extrasensory- Energy Ball- Sludge Bomb / Shadow Ball- Hidden Power [Fire] / Hidden Power [Rock]
Extrasensory takes care of Fighting types. With maxed Speed and Timid Nature, Roserade should be able to take them out no problem, especially with Specs.
Energy Ball is for STAB.
Sludge Bomb is for STAB. Go with Shadow Ball if you want coverage against Psychic types.
HP Fire is for steel types, since all of your moves are ineffective against them. I use HP Fire because of common threats such as Ferrothorn, Forretress, and Scizor. HP Rock covers basically all your weaknesses except Psychic.
If something gives you a status, just switch out. Natural Cure will take care of your problem.
Roserade (M) @ Red CardAbility: Poison PointEVs: 252 Def / 4 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Venoshock- Toxic Spikes- Spikes- Giga Drain
A different version of trach’ys set but he actually goes phazing around with Red Card and Toxic Spikes along with Leech Seed
Roserade (M) @ Miracle SeedAbility: Natural CureEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpDModest Nature- Energy Ball- Toxic Spikes- Sludge Bomb- Synthesis
Roserade @ Life OrbAbility:Natural CureEVS:24 HP / 252 SpA / 232 SpeModest Nature / Timid Nature- Hidden Power [Fire] / Hidden Power [Ground]- Sludge Bomb- Giga Drain- Sleep Powder / Stun Spore
Hidden Power [Fire] and Hidden Power [Ground] are two of the best coverages Roserade can have. HP [Fire] hits defensive walls like Skarmory and Ferrothorn, while HP [Ground] would be an option for Heatran, all of which would completely wall this set otherwise. Sludge Bomb is necessary to OHKO Shaymin and can 2HKO Dragonite, I believe. No Roserade set is complete without Giga Drain.
Giga Drain is thebestmove you can teach Roserade. While they’re asleep / paralyzed, you can sap away all of their life and gain back lots of HP lost by Life Orb. Sleep Powder and Stun Spore are good to have for basically taking problem Pokemon out. Stun Spore is another solid option if you want to bypass the sleep clause.
By having Natural Cure, if they try to paralyze you or put you to sleep, you can hop out and in, while other sweepers are effectively out of the game.
Roserade @ Life ORbAbility: Natural CureEVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Giga Drain / Leaf Storm- Sludge Bomb- Hidden Power [Fire]- Sleep Powder / Rest
Giga Drain and Leaf Storm are both STAB, it depends on if you want healing and the ability to stay in, or want more of a hit and runner.Sludge Bomb rounds out the coverage hitting Fire types among other things and stuff and is STAB.Hidden Power Fire gets good coverage along with Grass STAB, and hits Grass types.Sleep Powder is an acceptable alternative if using Giga Drain, if using Leaf Storm go with Rest for some nice healing and a combo with Natural Cure.
Roserade @ Focus SashAbility: Poison PointEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Sludge Bomb- Energy Ball / Giga Drain- Weather Ball- Rain Dance
Moves:
Sludge Bomb - STABEnergy Ball / Giga Drain - STAB, power or healingWeather Ball - kills Fire-types in rain; base power 150 neutralRain Dance - sets up Weather Ball; weakens Fire-type moves
Roserade (M) @ Life OrbAbility: TechnicianEVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 200 SpeModest Nature- Magical Leaf- Hidden Power [Rock]- Sleep Powder- Sludge Bomb
Roserade @ Salac BerryAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Shadow Ball- Giga Drain- Sleep Powder- Growth
Roserade (F) LeftoversAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Sleep Powder- Substitute- Giga Drain / Sludge Bomb- Leech Seed
Use Sludge Bomb over Giga Drain if you think Grass-Types are a bit of a problem.
Roserade @ Choice ScarfAbility: TechnicianEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Leaf Storm- Hidden Power [Fire]- Extrasensory- Sludge Bomb
The Scarf can be switched for Specs if you’ve got Sticky Web support.
I honestly think this would be a good move set
Roserade (M) @ Black SludgeAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpDModest NatureIVs: 0 Atk- Sludge Bomb- Giga Drain- Leech Seed- Toxic
Do not use against Steel- or Poison-type Pokemon. Make sure you have a Pokemon that can take on both in your team lol.

Roserade @ Heavy-Duty BootsAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 SpeJolly Nature- Petal Blizzard- Poison Jab- Sleep Powder- Swords Dance
Petal Blizzard is STAB. Poison Jab is STAB. Sleep Powder puts the opponent to sleep. Swords Dance boosts Roserade’s attack.
Gen 4 OU lead
Roserade @ Focus SashAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 SpeTimid NatureIVs: 3 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 SpD (Hidden Power Ground IVs)- Toxic Spikes- Sleep Powder- Leaf Storm- Hidden Power [Ground]
This Rose Masquerade is mostly known for it’s spiking moves. In honor of the DB Gen 4 Sinnoh tour that will begin in a few days, here is a set.
Gen IV OUToxic Spikes Lead
Roserade @ Focus SashAbility: Natural CureEVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpeTimid Nature- Toxic Spikes- Sleep Powder- Leaf Storm / Energy Ball- Hidden Power (Fire or Ground)
Roserade is one of the best leads in all of DPP, an era with no team preview.Sleep Powdershuts opposing leads down, allowing it to set upToxic Spikessafely. Thanks to theFocus Sash, if Roseradeoutspeedsand hitSleep Powderon its target, you are almost garanteed to lay two layers of T-Spikes. That is why it has anTimid nature. The third move is STAB.Leaf Stormis usually better thanks to its higher base power, butEnergy Ballcan be used if you don’t likeLeaf Storm’slower accuracy and SpA dropping.Hidden Poweris for coverage. BothHP FireandHP GroundhitSteel types.
