This is one that could be used on a Sand Abuse team, it can either Stall, or it can be utility:
Solrock @ Light Clay / LeftoversAbility: LevitateEVs: 80 HP / 252 Def / 176 SpDImpish Nature- Earthquake- Stealth Rock / Pain Split- Light Screen / Cosmic Power- Reflect / Will-O-Wisp
This thing can actually be useful with Sandstorm’s SpDef adds for Rock types. For the first set, we haveDual screens(Light Screen + Reflect) to help your team combined withStealth Rocksfor entry hazards, orPain Splitif your lead has Stealth Rocks.Earthquakeis used for its large coverage. Pretty simple set, obviously this one uses Light Clay.
The second, separated by the slashes, is a stall role. Earthquake remains, it’s physical, high coverage, blah blah.Pain Splittakes the place of Rocks for recovery and adds residual damage.Cosmic Powerraises both defenses making this guy hard to take down. WhileWill-o-Wispadds more residual damage, hits Skarmory, and lowers the opponent’s attack stat. With the combination of Sandstorm’s SpDef adds, Cosmic Power, burns, and Pain Split keeping it healthy, this guy can stick around a long time and be a major thorn in an opponent’s side. This set prefers Leftovers, as it has no screens.
The EVs are the same for both sets, it increases bulk and staying power. Levitate is its only ability, and one of the best in the game, anything that turns weakness into immunity is awesome. I prefer the second set, I am terrible with timing dual screens, and my Hippowdon uses Stealth Rocks, so I like a good staller on my team.
Solrock @ Light ClayAbility: LevitateNature: ImpishEVs: 252 HP / 130 Def / 126 SpD- Light Screen- Reflect- Will-O-Wisp- Explosion
Kind of like a Forretress, set up those dual screens, burn physical sweepers and then explode after he finished his job.
Solrock @ Life OrbTrait: LevitateEVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 SpeAdamant Nature- Rock Polish- Zen Headbutt- Stone Edge- Earthquake
Rock Polish boosts speed to a nice 478.Zen Headbutt is good STAB with a nice flinching chance if that would be needed.Stone Edge is good STAB and nice coverage.Earthquake compliments the other moves nicely by giving the Edgequake combo and his Steel and Rock types among others.
Solrock @ LeftoversAbility: LevitateEVs: 160 HP / 144 SpD / 160 SpD / 44 SpeModest Nature- Will-O-Wisp- Calm Mind- Psyshock- Ancient Power / Sandstorm
WoW effectively doubles your defense, along with calm mind and sandstorm, makes you a bulky sweeper. Psyshock and Ancient Power are STAB, and Sandstorm can be used over Ancient power in the lower tiers.
Solrock @ Focus SashAbility: LevitateEVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpeHasty / NaiveIVs: 0 Def / 0 SpD / 0 HP- Explosion- Stealth Rock- Hypnosis- Magic Coat
Gen 8 suicide lead. Focus Sash is for surviving on 1 HP when you are hit hard. Hasty or Naive Nature lower your defenses so you will be likely to be at 1 HP, and they increase Speed. The IVs are minimum bulk and max in the only important stats. Explosion allows you to KO opponents, or at least chip them. It also allows you to pivot. Stealth Rock is hazards. Hypnosis is status. Magic Coat reflects status moves, but is semi situational. The strategy: It is a lead. Use Hypnosis to put the opponent asleep(hopefully). Use Stealth Rock, then Explosion. Magic Coat is for other leads that use status. Gimmicky, but can be very useful if you get semi lucky.
Solrock @ Rocky Helmet (Gen 9 National Dex)Ability: LevitateEVs: 252 Defense/ 252 Special Defense/ 4 HPBold Nature
-Rock Slide-Zen Headbutt-Flare Blitz-Morning Sun
Rock Slide and Zen Headbutt are for STAB. Flare Blitz deals with Grass and Steel types. Rocky Helmet is to punish physical attackers and Morning Sun is for recovery. This should be run on a sun team to boost Flare Blitz and get more Morning Sun healing. I hope you enjoy this set!
