Sudowoodo (M) @ Focus SashAbility: Rock HeadEVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 DefImpish Nature- Sucker Punch- Wood Hammer- Stone Edge- Double-Edge

Sudowoodo (M) @ Leftovers / Chesto BerryAbility: SturdyEVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SpABold Nature- Calm Mind- Hidden Power [Rock]- Earth Power- Rest

LMAO. This set is hilarious. Calm Mind boosts his mind-blowing special attack to unimaginable levels, and also helps fix his weaker Special Defense, because his Defense is already great. Hidden Power Rock is this monster’s STAB move of choice, striking down all who don’t resist it with a single blow. Together with Earth Power, it makes the Edge-Quake combination, which gets fantastic coverage, allowing this beast to be prepared for any foe. Finally, when he becomes weary, he can Rest off all of the damage and continue to wreak havoc.

(why does he even learn calm mind? lololololololol)

Sudowoodo (M) @ Focus SashAbility: Rock HeadEVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 DefBrave Nature- Stone Edge- Wood Hammer- Hammer Arm- Sucker Punch

This is a Trick Room set, so make sure the Spd Iv is 0.

Sudowoodo @ Custap Berry / Assault VestAbility: SturdyEVs: 240 Atk / 50 Def / 220 SpDSassy / Brave Nature- Flail / Sucker Punch- Block / Rock Tomb- Counter- Stealth Rock / Stone Edge

Does anybody remember the dancing tree of Goldenrod City? It was a strange encounter with a dancing tree that turned out to be a Sudowoodo. I’ve always liked Sudowoodo’s strange design. Let’s talk about it. Sudowoodo is held back by its Speed and Special stats, but it makes up for these by being rather Defensive. It also has Sturdy, which will prevent OHKOs with 1 HP. By using Custap Berry, you gain priority on your next move when in a pinch.Flailis powered up to BP 200 when Sudowoodo is in this state. It doesn’t guarantee OHKO or 2HKO, but it does provide neutral coverage and benefits from Ability.Blockis used to trap physical attackers. When possible, Sudowoodo should be matching up to phys attackers so it can make use of its best move:Counter. Sturdy prevents OHKO from Fighting or Ground type moves, and it will Counter for 2x damage. Lastly,Stealth Rockrounds out the set, which means that you can either open with S. Rock or close with it after eating a Custap Berry.Another set I thought was decent was the Assault Vest set, which gives Sudowoodo survivability to Special moves at the cost of favored Status moves.Counterremains a staple on the set, whileRock Tombfills the space for Block,Stone Edgereplaces Stealth Rock. Flail could still be usable on this set, however,Sucker Punchwill give Sudowoodo much needed priority in place of Custap Berry.Obviously, Special Attackers, especially Water types, frighten Sudowoodo out, but overall, Sudowoodo has an interesting place on any Defensive team looking for a wild card like the Imitation Pokemon.

Sudowoodo @ Leftovers / Life OrbAbility: Rock HeadEVs: 68 HP / 216 Atk / 140 Def / 86 SpDImpish / Adamant Nature- Low Kick- Head Smash- Wood Hammer- Fire Punch / Thunder Punch

Alrighty so Sudowoodo is actually a pretty solid ‘mon and it learns some really impressive moves. I was thinking of doing a sturdy one, but It doesn’t learn endeavour so I wasn’t so sure if I could use it as a revenge killer due to that. So here is a Rock Head set, since it allows no recoil damage it is a perfect ability for this. I know your thinking Fire Punch? Well fire punch for a bit of type coverage or you could run Thunder Punch instead whichever one you really want.

Sudowoodo @ Assault VestAbility: Rock HeadEVs: 252 Atk / 100 Def / 158 SpDAdamant Nature- Wood Hammer- Hammer Arm / Power-Up Punch- Stone Edge- Explosion / Earthquake

With Wood Hammer, you receive no recoil due to rock head. It covers it’s Water and Ground weaknesses. Hammer Arm or Power-Up Punch if you want full power or a boost in attack. It also covers it’s Steel weakness. Stone Edge is for coverage and STAB. Finally, Explosion is for a last resort, or you can get further coverage with Earthquake. It’s only problem is now Grass, which is what FirePunch could be used for, but Sudowoodo can’t learn it in X/Y.

Sudowoodo@ Choice BandAbility: Rock HeadAdamant NatureEVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def- Head Smash- Earthquake- Sucker Punch- Wood Hammer

Mainly a wallbreaker with Head Smash.

Sudowoodo @ Assault VestAbility: Rock HeadEVs: 196 HP / 252 Atk / 60 SpDAdamant Nature- Head Smash- Wood Hammer- Sucker Punch- Double-Edge

This set makes it became access a very strong and bulky, sweep all of the other Pokemon due to has a lot of powerful move with recoil. But however, it’s ability Rock Headlet it dont got recoiled damge.I’ve chosen Assault Vest for the item cuz it’s Sp.Def is low, with Assault Vest, It’s super strong.I was also superised that it’s in PU tier, I’ve used it in Uber (Lol), but it still could kill a zacian with 2 Hit.

Gen 8 ZUSudowoodo @ Custap BerryAbility: Rock HeadEVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpDAdamant Nature- Head Smash- Sucker Punch- Stealth Rock- Explosion / Wood Hammer / Earthquake

This set is meant to take at least one Pokémon out. Basically, you start by setting up Stealth Rock. If you are bought down to the Red HP zone, you’ll consume the Custap Berry which will allow you to move first. Head Smash is STAB and doesn’t do recoil damage thanks to Rock Head. Sucker Punch is for revenge killing weakned opponents. Explosion is more of a last resort move, as long as your opponent doesn’t have a ghost type. You could swap Explosion for Wood Hammer, which is recoil free thanks to Rock Head and deals with water types, or you could use Earthquake which can deal with steel types.
