Wishiwashi @ LeftoversAbility: SchoolingEVs: 128 Def / 252 SpA / 128 SpDQuiet Nature- Hydro Pump / Scald / Surf- Aqua Ring- Ice Beam- U-turn

Wishiwashi is really great while Schooling. The strategy is to allow him to sweep while Schooling, and use Aqua Ring to remain at high HP. It would be great if you pair him with a guy that knows Trick Room. Like this, you would be able to start first. Aqua Ring combined with Leftovers give him lots of HP, allowing him to stay Schooling longer. Surf is STAB and is useful for Doubles and sometimes singles. Hydro Pump and Scald are also STAB that work great in both Singles and Doubles. Ice Beam is there to deal with mons that resist its STAB moves. U-turn is there to allow him to switch out to prevent from being set up by Water types or some other mons.

Wishiwashi @ Shell BellAbility: SchoolingEVs 232 HP / 236 SpA / 40 DefQuiet Nature- Aqua Ring- Scald- Ice Beam- Earthquake

The damage it does compared to his relatively low health stat means Shell Bell heals more than a Leftovers would. Use Aqua Ring on the first turn for passive healing for the duration of the fight; Wishiwashi usually goes second so additional healing is nice. Main damage will be coming from Scald, which has good power, is STAB, and has potential to leave the opponent burned. Ice Beam and Earthquake are for situations where the opponent is either weak to one of them or resistant to Water attacks.

Gen 8 NUWishiwashi @ Choice BandAbility: SchoolingEVs: 252 HP/ 252 Atk / 4 SpDBrave NatureIVs: 0 Spe- Liquidation- Earthquake- Iron Tail / Double Edge- U-turn

Explanation:This set is yet another one to be utilized in a Trick Room Team. Liquidation is STAB. Earthquake is for Electric type coverage. Iron Tail is for coverage, but has shaky accuracy. You could use Double Edge instead for a strong neutral move. U-turn is for pivoting.

Wishiwashi @ LeftoversAbility: SchoolingEVs: 252 SpA / 176 HP / 80 SpDModest Nature- Aqua Ring- Scald- Ice Beam- Protect

The idea is to keep your HP up to stay in Schooling Forme, so Aqua Ring and Leftovers help with that. Protect helps stall to recover HP. Scald is an appropriate STAB move, because it’s nice if the opponent has a burn while stalling. Ice Beam is just a nice, strong, accurate coverage move that covers half of your weakness.

Hope I helped.

Gen 8 NU

Wishiwashi @ LeftoversAbility: SchoolingEVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpDCalm Nature- Scald- Toxic- Protect- U-turn

Scald is STAB and has a chance to inflict a burn on the opposing Pokémon. Toxic is for stalling. Protect works well with Toxic and allows you to get a free turn of Leftovers Recovery. U-Turn is for pivoting.

Wishiwashi @ LeftoversEVs: 252 HP / 12 Atk / 80 Def / 164 SpDAbility: SchoolingImpish Nature- Dive- Aqua Ring- Toxic- Protect

This is a Toxic stall set for Wishiwashi. Poison the foe, set up an Aqua Ring and then alternate between Dive and Protect. Dive allows for an extra turn of healing as well as some damage to the foe. The EVs are distributed so that its Def and SpD are even at best.

Wishiwashi @ Weakness PolicyAbility: SchoolingEVS: 252 Def / 252 SpDSassy / Relaxed Nature- Hydro Pump / Surf / Scald- Hidden Power [Fighting]- Ice Beam- Earthquake

This is an odd set, used for sweeping and so. This strategy is to have a Pokemon do something like Agility/Shell Smash, then Baton Pass into a Pokemon which learns any move that increases Defense, and then Baton Pass to Wishiwashi. The Weakness Policy is the cherry on top, and if a foe uses a Grass type/ Electric type move you will probably survive with your defenses, and also thanks to your increased Speed you will have a better chance to kill things that are presumably a threat with this moveset. Hydro Pump/Surf/Scald are good STAB moves and I suggest Hydro Pump if you want to play it risky. Hidden Power [Fighting] is for coverage and is mostly just to get rid of things that you normally are not that effective against. Ice Beam is for taking care of Dragon and Grass types, which is important because if you don`t have your power boost yet you will probably be needing Ice Beam to get rid of the Grass types in your way. Earthquake is for dealing with Electric types. This Wishiwashi set will be very hard to set up but in the end you will probably be okay if you play your cards right.

In summary, this set is hard and risky, but if you get it right you will probably emerge victorious.
