Gen 1: Starmie/Blastoise/TentacruelStarmie, Blastoise and Tentacruel are all fantastic rapid spinners, Starmie generally has a Choice Specs and has the moves Surf/Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Rapid Spin. Blastoise was a decent rapid spinner before it’s Mega Evolution, but since it can Mega Evolve it is even better as a rapid spinner with Dark Pulse to hit any potential spin blockers which also gets boost by Mega Launcher. Tentacruel is often used as support with Rapid Spin, Scald, Toxic/Toxic Spikes and Protect/Substitute as it’s moves and Black Sludge as it’s held item.

Gen 2: Forretress/Donphan/HitmontopForretress has access to Rapid Spin but also has access to Spikes, Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock thus giving it the name as one of the best entry hazard users in the meta game. Donphan is also a common used rapid spinner with access to Stealth Rock and with Sturdy to boot. Hitmontop is okay rapid spinner although there are generally better rapid spinners to use in the meta game.

Gen 3: ClaydolClaydol is an okay Pokémon to use in a support role as it has access to Rapid Spin, Stealth Rock and Toxic to name a few but it is outclassed by other Rapid Spinners. Armaldo can also be used as a Rapid Spinner although it is generally outclassed and isn’t that good of a rapid spinner in my opinion.

Gen 4: No Pokémon in Gen 4 can learn Rapid Spin

Gen 5: ExcadrillExcadrill is commonly one of the best rapid spinners to use in the meta game enough said. Cryogonal can also learn Rapid Spin but it isn’t a very good rapid spinner in my opinion.

Gen 6: AvaluggAvalugg is the only Pokémon in Gen 6 that can learn Rapid Spin although I wouldn’t call it the best rapid spinner but some may argue.

Hope I helped :)

the best rapid spinners are from gen 1, but I can make a list of viable pokés each gen:

Starmie @ LeftoversAbility: Natural CureEVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDefTimid Nature- Rapid Spin- Ice Beam- Thunderbolt- Surf

a good offensive spinner, being able to outspend many threats____

Forretress @ LeftoversAbility: SturdyEVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDefBold Nature- Spikes/ gyro ball/ toxic spikes- Rapid Spin- Stealth Rock- Counter/ volt switch

“master controller” of the hazards and one of the most useful spinners___

Claydol @ LeftoversAbility: LevitateEVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 AtkGentle Nature- Stealth Rock/ ice beam- Rapid Spin- Earthquake- Psychic

gen 3 lacks spinners but claydol can do well, laughing at edgequake and good bulk makes it very viable in UU____

gen 4 has no spinners. thats why I’m suggesting a defogger instead

Honchkrow @ Leftovers/ flying gemAbility: InsomniaEVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 AtkCareful Nature- Defog- Night Slash- Aerial Ace- Roost/ haze

i know nothing about honchkrow, but I think this set should be viable. poor defenses, but high hp enables him to take at least one hit__

Excadrill @ LeftoversAbility: Mold BreakerEVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDefAdamant Nature- Rapid Spin- Rock Slide- Earthquake- Iron Head/ protect/ substitute/ ???

yeah, it seems like you know about escadrille as you listed him. very good offensive spinner. there a reason he used to be ubers. sand rush in sand is good to__

sorry, avalugg isn’t really viable, so I’m suggesting a good mega instead

Blastoise-Mega @ BlastoisiniteAbility: Mega LauncherEVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDefModest Nature- Rapid Spin- Scald- Dark Pulse- Aura Sphere

mega blastoise is good__

other noticeable spinners:

cloyster is good with spikes and rapid spin, but ice saks defensive, so he’s normally outclassed by shell smash variant2 defogers

hope I helped :D
