What is better for jolteon agility or double team?

I am going to use my jolteon in wi-fi battles, I dont really know much about jolteon strategies

Jolteon is already really fast so go double team. It is really annoying to get your evasion higher, and the Pokemon can’t hit you. Although, if your jolteon’s speed is somehow low, then you can use agility instead.

Double Team (and indeed all evasion moves) are kinda frowned upon, and are banned in Smogon tiers (except Ubers).

I would go with something more useful to be honest. Double Team only increases the chance of Jolteon surviving a hit, it doesn’t guarantee it, and Jolteon already has low defences, so you’re probably just going to waste a move slot with Double Team or Agility.

I mean, you could use your Jolteon to baton pass Agility to a sweeper, but like I say, it’s quite frail already, so you’ll want to use it to sweep as fast as possible.

I hate it how double team makes me miss the other Pokemon. I’d go with double team because Jolteon already has awesome speed and being able to hit first most of the time is awesome but whatever the speed is, if you can’t be damaged you can’t be defeated.
