What is the Flame Orb useful for?

i understand how the toxic orb can be useful like for poison healbut what is the flame ball useful for?

Flare Orb inflicts the user with a burn. This can have a strategic use:

The moveFacadehas double power if the user is burned, and also ignores the 50% Attack reduction effect from burns. Normal-type Pokemon in particular can benefit from this a lot.

The abilityGutsgives a 50% Attack boost to the user if they have a status affliction, and also ignores the 50% Attack reduction effect from burns. This means you can get the equivalent of a Choice Band boost without the move-locking limitation.

Pokemon that areimmune to burns(ex: with Magic Guard) are not affected by burn damage. This means they can get burned by the item, and therefore become immune to other (worse) status effects, like paralysis. They can also use moves like Trick to give enemies the harmful item.

The abilityMarvel Scalegives a 50% boost to Defence if a status condition is present. This can be an overall beneficial effect with the Flame Orb. Getting burned also gives immunity to other status conditions (like the above example).

These orbs help power up abilities like Guts or Marvel Scale, along with the move Facade.

Ursaring is a good candidate for the Flame Orb because it can have the ability, Guts. Along with the ability to learn TM42: Facade. Breloom is also good for using the Toxic Orb because of it’s Poison Heal ability.

You can use moves like fling and switcheroo to burn your opponent with the flame orb.
