What would be another defensive Pokemon besides Dusknoir, Aegislash, Bronzong and Heatran?

1 minute read

I recently started on making a team of Mega Kangashkan, Lapras, Goodra, Aegislash, Sceptile, and Dusknoir. But I am not convinced with my defensive Pokemon, I wanted to try to avoide Pokemon who’s weaknesses are dark; I was wondering whats another best bulky Pokemon that should replaced aegislash or dusknoir.

I’ll give some examples of Pokémon that are specially and physically defensive (or both.)

With the highest Sp Defense and tied higest Defense this thing could arguably be one of the best defensive Pokémon. Its only really useful ability however isContrary.A moveset with this ability could be:

This is also the setPimpniteused in one of his sweeps so that is an example of how it works.

Another two Pokémon that have one of the highest in both their designated defences.Regirock is often used for setting up here is a common set for it:

You could also have Regirock hold theAssault Vestand replace Stealth Rocks and Substitute withIce PunchandPower-Up Punch

Regice however can use this set:

These are just three examples of defensive Pokémon that can do damage as well.If you wanted one for just pure stalling thenDusknoirwould be a very good choice.

If you would like more just ask and I’ll add more sets :)

Clefable is the premier wall right now. It can be either physically defensive or specially defensive, depending on your team’s needs. With a set of wish, protect, moonblast and flamethrower, Clefable becomes a great wish passer. It can also run softboiled, toxic/thunder wave, moonblast and flamethrower. Clefable has two great abilities in Unaware and Magic Guard. Unaware makes him stat changes null greatly increaseing your switch ins on set up sweepers. Magic Guard makes him immune to poison, burn, leech seed and entry hazards. Also, no dark weakness. In fact, it resists. Most sets run leftovers
