Every Monday night after 8pm you can go to Mt Moon and find a bunch of Clefairy dancing at the top of the mountain. When they run off, one leaves behind a moon stone. AFAIK, this repeats each Monday, so you can keep coming back every week to get more.

You can also sometimes get a moon stone by winning the bug catching contest. and Ithinkthat your mom might buy one for you on occasion if you let her save your money. (I can’t swear to that one though)

On certain days you can get different items in the shop of the Pokeathlon Dome. But you need points to get the items. So you have to compete in the Pokeathlon to get the points.Here are the you can get the different items:
